there are many altcoins that have followed the supply design of bitcoin and tried distributing their supply that way (through proof of work mining and block rewards).

My first question to you is what do you mean by fair distribution? This fair distribution can be interpreted in many ways, so please explain what do YOU mean by that.

What does a fair start mean? I don't think a fair start means distributing free coins to anybody who asks or puts their email in registration form. This question is rather philosophical ..

what you mean with altcoin that is fairly distributed. Do you want all altcoins to distribute the same as you want, it is impossible.

There were a lot of airdropped tokens back in 2017 with no ICOs. You only need to fill up a form and tokens will be distributed fairly to each applicants. Unfortunately only a few of them are legit and still existing today.

Early stage of crypto, Stellar was distributed to users who verify their facebook account. AT least they give it freely without ICO but then there ain't no assurance whether its fair of course people took advantage of it having tons of facebook accounts. It depends on the team of what they are planning to distribute. Because they have many allocations and they based it on a percentage value. I think it is just fair for the distribution.

What do you mean of the fairly distribution. Are you investors or bounty hunters? If you are investors, I personally think that the amount will depend on in what stage you are investing in, it commonly has the different price, then you will also get the different amount of the coins plus the bonus if any.
I think the investors will get the fair distribution.
But if you mean for bounty hunters, some may change the rules immediately after the end of ICO. this is also so bad for me.

For my opinion, the altcoins for me are distributed fairly and properly. Any biased distribution on the team can be reported and may cause for the investors to back own. So the team give confidence on their distribution to gain their trust.
