Why I hate all forms of Altcoin and possibly hate cryptocurrency

You spend your hard earned money, you spend your saving on these risky investments.
You do everything to the letter, download wallets, keep all passwords safe, you research exchanges so you don't get conned.

Then these FUCKWIT developers CONSTANTLY do snapshot and change wallets.

You go away for a couple of months and you come back to find out that you can't access any of your altcoins and that your hard earned money is just simply GONE!

I refer to IOTA, EOS, SHIFT. I owned sizeable amounts of each and now my money is just GONE.

Why would you invest money into very high risk avenues and stop paying attention to it? At that rate- why take it off exchange? Just leave your garbage on Binance if you don't actually care for the project/what you can do with it.

Don't take it personally but looks like you lost your money because you were lazy & why you did not followed at list twitter handle of the project you invested with notification on or email subscription?? You could have gotten quick update about the current happening in the projects & time to act on time. From next time keep your altcoins in exchange if the coin is still under development & which have not launched its mainnet as exchange takes care of up-gradation now a days.

People place too much emphasis on alt coins in an effort to earn big
gains quickly. They see the likes of the longer established crypto as
"too expensive" and opt for cheap alts so they can hold vast amounts
in the hope they pump and release big wealth.

It has been posted before that bitcoin market share has been diluted
by too many scam alts when all this time Bitcoin has been the one
which we should be concentrating on.

Well aren't we all smart  Imagine a world where I would have to keep looking at my bank in case they decide to close my account and if I didn't press a button to transfer my money to another made up account that I would lose all my money  without even a text or an email to notify me  ITS FRAUD. There is no one to blame but yourself, why would you do investment then do not even bother to follow basic news, all the coins you mentioned is famous and well-known coins and you could have easily follow their news on any Crypto news related website without even bother to follow their channels or telegram etc. It is your fault man so just accept it.

I shouldn't have to keep changing wallets and keep going through complicated process just so my money isn't stolen from me. Crypto will never succeed with this BS.

I can understand your frustration. There are many coins or new project like to swap coins or change wallet all the time, sometime you miss the swap date, then all the coins will become worthless. I think I am not going to invest any money to coins which swap all the time, swap meant for me a scam.

Actually i just heard someone that left their investment especially in new coins for a long time. But for first, sorry for your loss. At least you can learn something from this that keep update with something that you invested.

I understand what are you saying but you should first analyze the situation before you complain take time to analyze why you lose your money just because you don't know how to trade and specially investing in crypto was to risky weather you lose or you earn. The number one rule for every investor is information. You must keep yourself informed about latest moves, news, updates and exchange listing (which includes a price alert to indicate how much growth the token has witnessed in the short or long run)

Altcoins are the best waves of investment in crypto currency, as long as you can make the right research and right information spot on.

The space is still evolving and we are still part of the early adoptors. hence you must be available to dedicate part of your time to regularly check for update about each of your investment as several developmental changes takes places regularly.

You shouldve known from the start that these are new coins that you have invested with.
You should be more careful about it. It is your money you have spent and you cannot just leave it like that.

Perhaps there are ways to recover them. Before making any mad accusations try to contact their customer support or at their telegram. You never know, there might be a solution to it.

Next time invest in a much trustworthy coin.

Don't invest in crypto if you can't handle the risk, alt coin is a very risky investment, and don't expect too much in alt coin, most of the time the price movement in a very unpredictable way, for now a lot of coin had drop down and there is still no sign of recovery, my suggestion is to invest in top 5 coins, even if the price fall down there is still some chances to recover

First job to do when you invest money somewhere is follow the updates , news on social media . I always follow all the projects i invest and never had a problem like you . I had 3 projects where i did need to do swap for new tokens as contract had a flaw . The ones who didn't swap lost it . Unfortunatly that sucks , but there is currently nothing we can do about it . Maybe if you speak with devs , they could help you
