The first round of matches for ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Region Qualifier B are now complete. In the first match, Indonesia managed to defeat South Korea, while in the second match Japan defeated Philippines. A total of 4 teams are taking part in this tournament, and out of them, the winner will qualify for the Asia-EAP Regional qualifier. Samoa has already qualified from the East Asia-Pacific Qualifier A. Anyway, from Qualifier B, it looks like Indonesia will qualify for the regional final.

After four days we are going to have mega event started at the Dubai sports city with 10 big women's cricket teams are going to participate for win and having rule in this format for next few years even we are having Australia as hot favourite but still we can expect any surprise as we have few good and talented teams like India and England.

The warm up matches for this World Cup has already been started today. In the match between Sri Lanka Women and Bangladesh Women the five overs are left in the innings, if in these thirty balls Sri Lanka made more score between 40 and 50 then they could stand a good target and may Bangladesh find trouble chasing it.

Sri Lanka women made 120 runs , the great thing is they are not losing wickets now. Hasini Perera and Nilakshika Silva are playing a good partnership. If this time either player loses their wickets, it will be hard for Sri Lanka to set a good target. These are the warm up matches of ICC Women's T20 World Cup so one may expect the teams not playing to their full potential.

South Africa may have secured a big win by 8 wickets in this match but they had to hold on for almost 18 overs to secure this win. Ireland's batsmen have performed well. If the bowlers could have taken some responsibility like the batsmen, it would have been possible to put South Africa under pressure. Patrick Kruger's bowling performance for South Africa in the first T20 match was outstanding as he bowled four overs and took four wickets for 27 runs. However, South Africa's batting performance was more impressive than South Africa's bowling performance in this match.

You can compare Ireland team with Afghanistan team. Afghanistan International cricket team is grooming team and the players of that team are playing top class leagues of the World and they are performing well in all the leagues and they are famous all the World. I am taking about Rashid Khan, Najeeb and Muhammad Nabi but when Rashid Khan joined the International team of Afghanistan, Afghanistan team became stronger than Pakistani cricket team. But Ireland team has no quality bowlers and they could not stop  SA openers and middle order batters and we saw last match in which Ireland team gave good target but they could not defend that target due to bad bowling.They need good pacers and good seemers which will be beneficial for their team.

ACB receives significant amount of funds every year from these leagues in the form of player release fees. Ireland doesn't receive anything even remotely similar, because hardly any Irish players are active in the leagues.

Proteas learn from their mistakes which they have done against Afghanistan with Irish quality is also not as we have in Afghanistan bowling which was big difference which give good advantage to Proteas, and they were able to chase this target their young players like Ryan Rickelton and Patrick Kruger perform after having adjustment with conditions which help them for having easy win in this first game of the series against minor Ireland.

There is no comparison between the Ireland and Afghanistan teams. Although the Afghanistan team has not made a good record of playing well in any major tournament, there is no doubt that they will be a good team in the future. Afghanistan team players play in various franchise tournaments, they can gain experience by playing with big players, it is very good for them as cricketers. If they play like this, they will be able to contribute well in the big tournaments in the next few days. South Africa is definitely a good team but they also lost the series with Afghanistan which is hard to believe. Compared to Afghanistan, the position of the Netherlands team is far behind.

Team Canada has been performing very well in recent times. The team continued their winning streak in the last few ODI matches. In almost every match we saw good performances from Canadian players. Canada played well enough and won today's T20 match as well.

Today's match in Canada T20 Tri-Series was Nepal vs Canada. Canada's batsmen may not bat very well. The team set a small target of 124 runs in 20 overs. However, Canada did not face any problem to win this match. Apart from Nepal's captain Rohit, no other batsman can bat well. This is why Nepal failed to win even though the target was small. Nepal's squad does not have any experienced batsmen to bat responsibly.

Canada kept winning in international cricket by beating Nepal in T20 Tri-Series. Canada only scored 123 runs but their bowlers were too good for Nepal batsmen. Nepal relied too much on captain Rohit and  rest of the team did not score many runs. This weakness in Nepal batting lineup caused them to lose. Canada wins show that their team works well together and has talented players. They perform well under pressure which is good sign for future games.

Yes you are right Pakistan women cricket team played poorly in their practice match against Scotland losing game they were expected to win. They only scored 139 runs while Scotland easily reached target with losing just two players and finishing early. This loss shows Pakistan is not ready for upcoming tournament and might lose early. Pakistan Cricket Board is not supporting team enough and is not finding new young players which hurts team progress and chances.

After 3-4 rounds of meetings. IPL committee came up with their guidelines. Not happy with the impact player rule as it's bad for genuine all rounders.

- Purse is increasing but still feels way too slow to me. It should've been around INR 200 crore, sadly we won't reach there anytime soon.
- Players in the Playing XI will earn an extra amount, which could touch INR 1 crore, given he's playing all the matches.
- The number 5 rule is specifically made for Poms and Aussie lol
- The number 6 rule came because of the antics of English players, I believe it would be applied individually and from case to case.

It is a welcome step that Jay Shah introduced match fees in IPL. Younger players get hired for very low base salaries (20 lakh or 30 lakh INR) and then they play for entire season and ends up with a paltry amount.
