LOL.. Dayyaan Galiem had a horrible day yesterday, as he returned figures of 4-0-61-1. This happened during the match between Knights and Titans at the CSA T20 Challenge. Main culprit was Rilee Rossouw, who made 66 from 32 balls, and he was ably supported by Jacques Snyman (44 from 18 balls). Knights are still struggling in the tournament, with just 2 wins from 5 matches at this point. Titans are marginally better, with 15 points (3 wins) from 5 matches. BTW, Marques Ackerman made 74 on the same day for Dolphins  (vs Western Province).

What a start of the match for the Sri Lanka as we have slow start but 4th over of the match which bowled by star West Indian bowler Shamar Joseph concede 25 runs with 5 fours by Pathum Nissanka which turn things into positive way for the home team because now we are having 61 runs from 8 overs and things are looking for another high scoring game.

As Sri Lankan are batting if we have no wicket down in next few overs then surely this is going to be turned into entertaining game with West Indian are having good ability to chase high scores, but now Sri Lanka needs to be learned from their mistakes which they have done in first game Sri Lankan bowling is having no depth which is currently problem for them while their batting is having good improvement.

Pitch is completely batting friendly as things were going in early overs I was expecting near 200 runs, but we have good comeback by the West Indian bowlers as Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph both have good spells which bring their team back into game Pathum Nissanka who have flying start not able to convert his inning into good for his team as he just bowled out by Alzarri Joseph 54 on 48 balls which is surely not good for the T20i standard because now we needed nearly 180 to 200 striker rate on these pitches.

IPL and Indian batting setting new standards in this format which are good for the players and fans because they want good entertainment with good hitting around the ground, but we have nothing good from the Sri Lankan in this game even they have good start in power play which can help them for having good target on board.

Has the pitch been changed? I don't know exactly. But I think the pitch has been changed. And Sri Lanka have taken the home advantage well. And that's why in today's match Sri Lanka batted very cautiously from the beginning of the innings. Because they knew that even if they didn't give a big target on this pitch, they had a big chance of winning. So the Sri Lankan players batted very carefully. This is just my guess.

Sri Lanka collected 77 runs from their opening pair. The batting of the top order batsmen was quite decent. Sri Lanka collected 162 runs in 20 overs losing 5 wickets. It was not a big target. And many like me might have thought that West Indies will win this match very easily. But the scenario of the match is completely different.

The West Indies team lost 7 wickets to collect only 40 runs. And after losing wickets so quickly, West Indies had no chance of winning. Dunith Wellalage bowled well. He picked up three wickets by conceding 9 runs in 4 overs.

The top 4 batsmen of West Indies had a total collection of only 14 runs. The team lost wickets very quickly. The team lost 7 wickets in 10.1 overs. In the first match, West Indies batted brilliantly on this ground. So our expectations were high from West Indies in the second match. However, the series is now tied at 1-1. The result of the series will depend on the last match.

Every batsman in the top order batted badly. Captain Rovman Powell was able to collect the maximum 20 runs for the team. Besides, no other batsman can play well. West Indies' innings stopped at just 89 runs. The team lost by a big margin of 73 runs. However, with the series now tied at 1-1, the final match will be more competitive.

Just to add on to this, the West Indies women's team's net run rate is higher than that of the South Africa Women's team. This means West Indies only have to win this match with no other requirements, and they will still qualify keeping the South Africa team out. But if England loses, they can be out of the race too depending upon how they end up with NRR. Things are pretty complicated before this match.

Finally West Indies women has showed thier potential and beat one of top side england women team and with that victory they not only equal his point to top position holder but move ahead at top of the table by net run rate and thus even having same points with opponent English team got eliminated by net run rate because with that defeat they goes very below even right after south African team. The main role in that victory has been played by thier opening pair who really set tone for his team and absorb rest of pressure and thus lower order just filled the gap without any fear. Anyway now we have four deserving semi finalist from both group where Australian will face south African in coming future while west indies will face new Zealand so I believe from these four we will have Australian and west indies as a final list let's see how things goes in semifinals.

It's true that Siri Lanka loses the first match very brutally, but finally they comeback and won an important match of the series with a very huge margin, and that the deciding match is because here dominance can fully shift toward any of them, so they make it balance with a toady victory. Most of us expect the West Indies to once again rise and show their strength, but opponent bowling didn't allow them despite they have to a chance a very normal target in t20 format but they failed and unable to performance according to our expectations.
 
Great performances have been played by Nissanka and the rest of their players, who added their contribution and put their team ahead of their opponent, and the remaining difference was filled by bowlers who restricted them below even 100 and won the match by a huge margin.
