Domestically they do not get good respect, due to which they perform in IPL and various leagues for more money. The players of the West Indies team are very experienced and powerful, they perform well in unique games and have aggressive batting and bowling performance.
But internationally they cannot perform well in their own country because of their lack of practice, they are failing to perform well for money. If the financial crisis continues like this, they will not be able to produce experienced players in the future, as a result of which they are losing consecutively to the England team, thus their performance will continue to deteriorate.

Didn't watch that match, but I am not surprised at all. The dude was consistently great along with Sai and Gill throughout the season and I knew right away that GT's chances of winning would drop without him playing.

Didn't watch that match, but I am not surprised at all. The dude was consistently great along with Sai and Gill throughout the season and I knew right away that GT's chances of winning would drop without him playing.

All of them are hard hitter batsmen, not responsible. I rarely see responsibilities in the batting style of West Indies players. All those hard heater batsmen couldn't play well in the first match. But WI performance will be unpredictable in the upcoming matches. They might win one match in T20 series.

Today the ODI game was shortened to 21 overs due to weather, it was more like a T20 than an ODI, West Indies women batting first created a small target of 107 runs which English women chased with style in 11th over with only 1 wicket loss.
West Indies women is a team which is ranked even lower than Bangladesh and Pakistan and it were of no match to England to start with. They are not even participating in the ODI world cup being held from September this year.

England has proved its worth in the first game of T20 against West Indies in their homeground with a tremendous performance by their bowlers and batsmen. England opened the innings with Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett but it was an unfortunate as the first wicket was lost at just 16 runs but circumstances changed as the game further progressed. From the start it was looking a hard task for England to score good runs but after the enterence of Jos Buttler, 96 runs were added in the score otherwise England would have wiped out at below 150 runs so thanks to Jos Buttler for his great performance. After successfull 6 wickets wipe out West Indies stopped England at a target of 189 runs. West Indies suffered high pressure from the start when their openers were bowled out at just 33 runs. West Indies batsmen lost wickets after short intervals giving a plus point to England to get victory. West Indies was closer to the target but England's bowler Liam Dawson got 4 key wickets which made England win this game by 21 runs.

The 1st match was played at Riverside Ground and England won toss and elected to batting first. West indies did not play good and England set a record total runs for 188 but West indies did not chased record runs 167 and lost the game. Jos Buttler was top performer for England team in batting and scored 96 in 59 balls and hitted 6 fours and 4 sixs.
