They won against Sri Lanka, and that too at home. The margin (2-1) was still not good and Sri Lanka had won the ODI series before that one. Shamar Joseph was the only player who impressed me. He picked up 11 wickets in three matches. Along with the experienced Jason Holder, he formed a crucial bowling pair. Batsmen were inconsistent, with Shai Hope, Sherfane Rutherford and Shimron Hetmyer occasionally scoring runs. They need to strengthen their bowling (especially spin), if they want to have a chance against the stronger teams. And also, WICB needs to give Shamar a good contract. Else he will also disappear into the abyss of IPL.
