Pakistan won by 27 runs against South Africa today in the last T20 match of the 3-match series.

Summary of Pakistan's tour to South Africa:

-Test series = South Africa won by 3-0

-ODI series = South Africa won by 3-2

-T20I series = South Africa won by 2-1

These results are not surprising considering that Pakistan batting line up has been on the decline for quite a while now, their only strength is their bowling. I have to be honest never expected Africa to do so well, considering their team is going though a transitional phase.

Honestly, most of the matches that South Africa won were way too close. South Africa won the last 2 T20Is by 6 and 7 runs, won a test match due to Azhar Ali not being able to play just 10 balls, got an unexpected advantage of rain in one of the ODIs and won it through Duckworth–Lewis–Stern (DLS) method by 13 runs, etc.

Overall, even though South Africa succeeded in winning the whole tour of Pakistan, I'd still not say that Pakistan played very bad. Both the teams played fine, but the South African team played a little better.

Overall matches were interesting and towards the end SA proved little better than Pak which helped them winning all the format matches. But Pakistan would be disappointed that inspite of coming so close they could clinch any of the series which would have helped them morally.

I think Pakistan needs to pick the positive incidents that happened with them and focus on for the world cup. They are very unpredictable team. They have proven their strengths several times when no one believed them. I hope they will do the same in this world cup too. I have high hopes for them.

One interesting observation from just concluded Ind vs NZ match:
Four Indian batsmen scored 20, 30, 40 and 50 runs individually and I am not sure this might have happened previously in any other formats too.

Now this series is leveled and 3rd match will be the decider. I am going to bet on India as India have not lost their last 10 T20 series. This may be a surprises for may gambler here as I am simply ignoring the chances for hosts to clinch the series to lift the cup but I am taking this option after seeing the batting and bowling depth of India.

I missed the match, but after going through over scorecard, it looks India outplayed the Kiwis in all department just like Kiwis did in First 20-20 game.

Anyone watching BPL? Comilla is playing quite good and they have scored 114 for 3 from 14 overs. Tamim Iqbal is still in the pitch with 70 from 40 balls. 200 is possible from current position or not? I think less than 200 will lead Dhaka to win the match since they have some big batsman.

Comilla won the tournament. I missed the match though. Saw the result on crickinfo. I was taking side for the Dynamites but it was a bad day for me. For Comilla Tamim Iqbal played a monster innings of 141 runs not out from only 61 balls. Well deserved win for Comilla.

I thought that New Zealand posted a decent sized total after the start they had, it was the New Zealand middle order that helped them achieve the total of 158. The Indian bowlers bowled well in this match and they are the ones that helped India win the match in my opinion. I'm looking forward to seeing the final T20 match, I think India will win and cap off an amazing last 3 months of cricket away from home. If they do win the series then that would make a clean sweep of Australia and New Zealand which is amazing.

The depth India team has for their betting team, chasing 158 runs is never enough. This was predictable that NZ were losing the math. But NZ did made some effort to pick some on the wickets.

After the series at leveled, I am really excited to see the cracker tomorrow as Hamilton pitch is known for more flat hence batting friendly always. I predict India to win this unofficial final even after New Zealand may set targets above 200 runs. It would be a high scoring match for sure hence there could be more possibilities to bet around. But, at the same time T20  matches may swing from team to team, I do think some times to stay away from it just for the reason of securing my bankroll .

My prediction will be, India is going to win this series too by 2-1 to mark an unforgettable season for them.

You cannot think like India beat Australia in Australia hence it would be easier for them to beat New Zealand but they are the king at their kingdom and I do see there are only 50% - 50% chances for both India and New Zealand as India is missing many key players like Kohli and Bumbra.

I may not bet tomorrow as I am just working on gathering big bankroll for the series of India-Australia as we can easily predict the winner there as India might be performing extraordinary on their own soil.

That is the truth, India is performing extraordinary well outside the continent for the past few years and so is the reason they were able to defeat Australia quite convincingly in their home soil and that is what is happening in New Zealand and with the T20 format India is not placing the best team so i am also backing out of the bet as i am not sure how this match will go, if New Zealand post a big total like the first match above 200 then i will place a bet for New Zealand to win as India is not having the batting dept to chase big scores.

NZ is looking very good today. They are betting now and after 12 overs they scored 118 only losing 1 wicket. they are going to score over 200 runs for sure.  this will be very hard for India to chase but not impossible for them. However my bet is for NZ after looking at this pace of the game.

Nz's wrapped up their innings at 212 runs. So, India needs 213 runs to win the match. Not an easy target but not impossible for India too. They need good partnership and good start. There will be an exciting chase I feel.

India lost their 2nd wicket at 82. Vijay Shankar got out, he scored 43 from 28 balls. Rohit and Pant is batting now. Hope they got a great partnership. India needs 121 from 66 balls. It's not so huge though.

The chance is 50 - 50 to both. India is playing really well. Pant is hitting every ball and scored 23 out of only 6 balls.. After 10.1 overs india scored 109 runs by losing only 2 wickets. We need to see if they can carry this pace. Good luck to them.
