Australia Women A vs India Women A Second T20 Match

Today there is the second T20 match between India A and Australia A. They have played the first match and we can see that how they both performed in the first T20 match. According to the first match stats I think this match will also a tough match.
In the last match Australia won by only 5 runs and I don't think so that India will give a chance to Australia to win today match. The match will start almost in 3h. The series is at 1-0 and I hope India will make it 1-1. Or may be Australia A will make it 2-0. So let's see what they both will do?

Yes, I was also thinking of looking tough in this match.  But if you see, India Women's batsmen scored 130 runs in 20 overs.  And this target was set very low.  And speaking of Australia Women's bowlers, the pressure they put on and the easy target they achieved, if their batsmen were given a target of 150, Australia Women's batsmen could have achieved that target as well.  Yes, I also thought that India will win this match, but Australia women won the match again.Congratulations to Australia Women for this win as well and India Women should focus on their batting as the pressure on the bowlers is less when the target is not high.

The captain of the Australia A women team played a match winning innings of 51 runs and remained not out. Also, the Australian top order also showed responsibility in batting which was lacking in the Indian Women's team.

At one time, India Women team were 47 for 5 wickets down. This is how poorly they played. At one point it looked like they will not even make 100 runs but later in the innings Kiran Navgire and Minnu Mani gave some stability to the team and due this their partnership Indian A Women's team was able to make 120 scores. However, they had no one in the bowling department who could put pressure on the Aussie and hence it turned out to be a one sided match.

Yesterday 2 nd qualifier game was played between BRW team and TON team and this game held on CAA Centre stadium. In Start of game, TON team have chance to take first bat or bowl by win toss and TON team elected field first. BRW team did not perform good effort in batting and did not set tough target to TON team and they made 141 runs, Hobson helped to make good total and he made 51 runs in 34 balls but his effort was totally useless. Shepherd bowlers took down 4 wickets in 4 overs with 32 runs and got a player of game medal at end.

Toronto National Outstanding performance in second qualifier and won this important match by 5 wickets against Brampton Wolves. I think in T20 modern cricket a target of 140 plus is easily and same happened in this match Toronto National qualify for the final of global T20 final. Toronto National easily chase the low target of 142 runs by Just loss of 5 wickets. Colin Munro and Muhammad Nawaz played a helpful inning for his team. The Player Of The Match is Romario Shepherd for his amazing bowling spell picked 4 crucial wickets and helped Toronto National to restricted Brampton Wolves under 150 runs.

If the way you describe their performance, their batsmen would not have found the target of 143 difficult.  Because one can judge by their wickets and their pace.  And their bowler has worked very hard because one has taken the target easily and the other has stopped the run and taken 8 wickets.  .  I don't know about their performance but everyone can easily guess from their winning this match and achieving the target.  Congratulations to Toronto for this win and the Brampton batsmen should improve their pace as they try to give tough and big targets in every match and win matches as well.  And their bowlers should also try to apply pressure so that neither team can easily complete the target.  If they don't work hard at it, they will keep losing matches like this.

But that match just surprised me. Montreal Tigers team was really good in the whole season but at the end they lost the final match and with a big margin that is showing the excellent performance of Toronto Nationals.
Means Montreal Tigers took the first turn and they made 96 runs in total in 20 overs. And Toronto Nationals chased this target in 15 overs and they lost only 2 wickets. What surprised me is that Montreal decided to open the batting with two inexperienced players - Parveen Kumar of Canada and Gerhard Erasmus of Namibia. Both of them got out early on, and that put a lot of pressure on Chris Lynn and Tim Seifert. They were reduced to 42/7. Only when Corbin Bosch arrived at the crease, the Montreal Tigers showed any sign of resistance. Sri Lanka Women batted to win and won easily by 7 wickets in 16.4 overs. Sri Lanka Women's opening batsman Harshitha Samarawickrama performed brilliantly, scoring 86 off 45 balls with a strike rate of 190+. If Ireland Women's bowlers could have dismissed Sri Lanka Women's opening batsman Harshitha Samarawickrama early, the match would have been competitive. However, Ireland women will need to improve both their batting and bowling lines in the next match. The final of Canada T20 is won by Toronto Nationals. It was a one sided match as Montreal Tigers were able to make 96 runs only in 20 overs. This was such a low target that Toronto Nationals faced no issues achieving this target. They had lost seven wickets for 42 runs only and we this scoreline, you can hardly expect to win the final.

The final match of the Global T20 Canada 2024 cricket tournament was not exciting or even enjoyable. We enjoyed a one sided game in this match but we expected this match to be high voltage. The Montreal Tigers chose to bat first and from the time they came to the crease to bat, their wickets fell one after the other .If we look at the performance of the Montreal Tigers team batsmen in this match, we will see that every batsman has given a very poor batting performance. The reason for their dismal performance could be that they were under a lot of stress in the final match which made them unable to come out of the shell.

On the other hand, Toronto Nationals managed to win easily with a target of few runs. They even achieved the glory of becoming the champions of the Canada 2024 cricket tournament.

To be honest I don't even see any big and experienced name in Montreal Tigers rather than just Rutherford and seifert while rest of them are retired national player and some associates team player who can't even know about proper cricketing technique so how can you expect some things bigger for them especially at such big event like final where pressure are at high level. So the things is that if we look at statics Toronto Nationals were far better according to strength vice as that why I am not shocked on MT defeat as thier defeat were confirmed from start also their opponent bowling factory were quite better  as they have assuie champ Behrendorff, Shepard, and Nawaz. Anyway a big congratulations to them for thier final match victory hope after few more edition of that league more fans and top class international player will took interest in thier league then may be things will got more spicy .

SriLanka Women vs Ireland Women

Today these two teams are going to play the 2nd T20I match of the series. In these both teams SriLankan women team is looking better. Because of we take a look on the stats of the previous match so we will see that SriLanka Women team was looking more stable as compared Ireland Women team.
In the previous match Ireland Women team made 145 runs in total and they lost 6 wickets at that time. Toronto Nationals' bowlers were unplayable in the powerplay. Half of Montreal's team got out inside the powerplay. I agree with your point of view that inexperienced openers did cost them the match. I think Lynn or Siefert should have opened the inning. Behrendorff was exceptional with the ball and was equally supported by the other bowlers. A target of 97 in the T20 is always difficult to defend. TN openers got out cheaply, but Gous and Van der Dussen played sensibly and won the title for their team. Toronto was a better team throughout the match and they deserved this victory.

In this final game, win of toss for the Toronto was highly favourable as they have first bowling things were not good for Montreal, and they lost early wickets which break their backbone, and they were not able to have score as they wanted in this final game of the event 28 for 5 were clear seam done his job and now Montreal having no chance of recovery but still they have done good job and have 96 at the end thanks to Corbin Bosch for having 35 but still this was not for the final game.

Toronto still takes good time for chasing this target and having win in this season with hot favourite Montreal down in important game after having 10 points from 7 games in group stage with just one lost and Toronto which was fourth in group stage having win trophy.
