But I want MI to win, they do this almost every season like losing in the trot of the beginning of the season, then they make their way up to top 4, for that to happen they need to fix their middle order batting and Bumrah needs to take wickets. I mean he is still the same Bumrah but players are taking cautious approach and gone wicketless so far.

I actually didn't think the performance from Scotland's batsmen was exceptional because Scotland is already a stronger team than Namibia. I was expecting Namibia to lose this match because we have already seen them lose badly against Scotland in the ODI format. And in that place, the Namibian team managed to score only 159 runs which is a very easy target in the T20 format and Scotland completed it very easily. And I also think that Scotland will win the next matches as well and there is a possibility of whitewashing the Namibian team in this series.

Scotland is slightly more experienced in the T20 format than Namibia. We got proof of this in the first match. Namibia managed to provide a good enough target. But Scotland players did not face any problem to win the match.

Among the Scottish batsmen, except for Finlay McCreath, the rest of the top order batsmen batted responsibly. George Munsey and Brandon McMullen added 44 runs to the scoreboard. Scotland reached the target of victory by losing only 3 wickets. It is a three-match series. And I am pretty sure Scotland will win the series.

Namibia vs Scotland First T20

I updated about this match yesterday and Scotland easily won 7 wickets in this T20 match of series against Namibia and they got target of 160 runs with 7 balls left. Namibia firstly played their turn. They made 159/7 but their hitting was stopped Scottish bowling effort which made sure that no one player could take off with game. Scotland top and middle players did well to it. They play calmly during chase and scored 160/3 and mad 1-0 series lead. However, Namibia demonstrated great skills, but it was not quite sufficiently to make Scotland undergo significant amount of pressure during second half.

Hope MI vs Punjab turns out to be a thriller since this particular season has been largely boring for me so far except for a few matches here and there. GT vs DC was still the best one for me so far. Am expecting Punjab to win this one thanks to MI struggling badly.

Iyer is their nemesis who screwed them in last year's semifinal and it will be interesting to see if he can screw them again. Punjab have won all of their matches so far barring the rain hit one.

Although this season has been slow, most exciting game until this time was when the Gujarat Titans beat Delhi Capitals by one run gap having stopped a score of 210. Punjab goes into this night in 3rd place with unbeaten record and Mumbai is in great need of game with only one win, at spot 9. Shreyas Iyer, the new captain of Punjab, was big problem for Mumbai in past, yet MI has won little more matches between the two. 
Despite Punjab being favorite, Mumbai tend to do better on their own field when desperate and Jasprit Bumrah is only chance they have to make sure that Iyer does not win it again. Although Punjab has not lost any games which have gone to finish, it should be pointed out that they have really got three wins and one rain hit game instead of four wins in a row.

Namibia had also lost to Scotland in odi and today their t20 series started. In 1 st game, Namibia played poorly and Scotland beated them. Namibia team won toss and they elected batting first and gave bowling line to Scotland team. Namibia batsmen made 159 runs target in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Gerhard made great progress and made brilliant half century 54 runs in 39 balls and hitted four 4s and one 6s but his runs were useless and Namibia team lost this game by 7 wickets and 7 balls. Mark bowler bowled out 2 wickets in 4 overs and gave 24 runs. Scotland team chased down target in 18.5 overs by losing 3 wickets. George opened this lineup with great batting and he made 44 runs in 31 balls and hitted two 4s and three 6s. Brandon batsmen also batted so great with George and he scored 44 runs in 39 balls and hitted three 4s and one 6s. Congratulations Scotland team won 1 st T20 game.

They had been holding themselves strong with their good efforts before and in this T20 series Namibia had the opportunity to strengthen their target and make their victory easy. If their batsmen had worked a little harder and scored a few more runs, it would have been good for them and for Scotland this target was not strong in my opinion because their batsmen achieved this target in 19 overs and achieved victory. Obviously they are a strong team and their batsmen did not play carelessly due to which they victory the match and their strength and chances of victory the series will be high. The Scottish team has played every match responsibly because they are serious in the match and try their good to victory the match. I hope for a whitewash of Namibia along with a series victory.

This is a problem that is understandable and apart from that playing on the field is also a separate problem. Because the support of the star and the public gives the player the power and enthusiasm to play, but sometimes they are not even impressed with it looks in the RCB game. The problem with Namibia is that after the retirement of Gerhard Snyman, they haven't got a batsman who can single-handedly guide them to a victory. Craig Williams had a lot of promise, but he is also retired now. Raymond van Schoor was widely regarded as their best young batsman, but he tragically passed away in the middle of a cricket match back in 2015. Bowling looks OK, with Ruben Trumpelmann and Jack Brassell dealing with the pace department and Bernard Scholtz troubling the opposition batsmen with his left-arm spin (even Scholtz is nearing retirement).

Mumbai Indians already have a problematic start to their season, with their batting looking not good. Today they again lost early wickets. Arshdeep Singh did a good spell with 2 overs, 2 wickets, and 4 runs. Ryan Rickelton and SKY are gone quickly. Quinton de Kock and Naman Dhir are now at the crease trying to rebuild the inning.

This partnership is looking interesting for both teams. At the end of the powerplay, the Mumbai Indians are 48 for 2. Chahal is facing problems in his first over, bringing the Mumbai Indians inning on track with 19 runs on 6 balls. From here, can PBKS take another wicket? These will give them a target that is suitable for their team—a tough fight between bat and ball.

I expected a score of around  220 from Mumbai. Mumbai's innings stopped at 195 runs. This is not a  small total. But it was possible for them  to add another 15/20  runs to the scoreboard. But except for de Kock, no other batsman could do better.

Mumbai's total was  160 runs at the end of 16 overs. They could not even collect  40 runs in the last 4 overs. Mumbai batted very badly in the death overs. Except for Naman Dhir and de Kock , no batsman could do well. Naman Dhir was able to  collect 50 runs in 31 balls. de Kock played a wonderful innings of 112 runs in 60 balls today.

The target is not small, if mumbai's bowlers can bowl well and take wickets quickly, then they have a chance of winning. Punjab's batting order is strong. Mumbai will not be able to win if they can not take wickets quickly.

Same thought. It was same shitshow of batting from MI except QDK's century. Sure, Naman Dhir made fifty too but he was given chance because Chahal dropped an absolute dolly.

Looking at MI's bowling, I don't think they are going to defend it.

This is the first T20 match between Namibia and Scotland in which both teams were seen in a lot of excitement. The first team to start batting was that they would set a good target and then put pressure on the team, but they failed in this attempt and this conspiracy backfired on them. Scotland's bowlers put all their pressure on them but still they set a good target. When it was the turn of Scotland, they showed their batting prowess, but only three of their players were out and they completed the target of 160 runs before the end of the overs. Their team is much better than the other team. In this first T20 match, they have won the T20 match and we will see in the next match whether their team wins or the other team takes revenge for their defeat and the next match is going to be very interesting.

Babar Azam played well, also he was looking to manage the strike rate, I just hope that he will score a century later in the tournament, because now some of the games are left and so far we have not seen any 100 by him, yeah he played well in recent games often reached up to 50 and also once he was close to 80 or maybe crossed it but what we want is just a century. Even today, he scored amazingly. Last time in the PSL of 2024, he scored a century, and then in 2025, he was so close, maybe scored 96 or I forget now, but got run out that time and couldn't achieve that milestone.

LSG team scored only 146 runs against RCB today, their batting performance was not good due to which they got all out quickly. RCB team's bowling performance was very good in today's match, Rasikh Salam Dar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled well due to which LSG team was under a lot of pressure. At the moment, RCB has lost three wickets while batting to make their mark but their chances are still the highest. This match will definitely be successful in winning RCB team they have good batsmen besides they are a strong team. By winning today's match, RCB team will occupy the first position in the points table from the third position. RCB team is already batting well they need 56 runs from 55 balls which is a very simple equation.

Yeah, in Indian Primer League RCB defeated LSG by 5 wickets. LSG opens inning first with Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh and among the openers Mitchell Marsh was so amazimg and gives a good start to the team by scoring 40 runs but Markram  lost his wicket early on 12 runs and in middle order all the batters don't put a great impact by playing big innings and Ayush Badoni played a aggressive knock of 38 runs and also Mukul Chudhary played defensively and scores 39 runs and at the end of the innings LSG set a very low  target of 147 runs. RCB opens inning with Phill Salt and Virat Kholi and among the openers Kholi showing his class and gives a very positive start to the team while chasing the target and scores 49 runs but Salt scores just 7 runs and in middle order Rajat Patidar was in incredible form and played a aggressive knock of 27 runs and also Jitesh Sharma Scores 23 runs and RCB easily chase the target and won the game

Rawalpindi batted very poorly and that was totally disaster of another good opportunity. And By the way I just hope that in the next season of PSL 12, I know its too late now but in this season they will replace Muhammad Rizwan, Rawalpindiz made an huge mistake of assigning the captaincy to wrong player who is obviously Muhammad Rizwan with poor batting effort. Now if he will score up to 50 in next match with good strike rate, we should not care about it because when you take multiple chances and then play an good innings which is like one in a hundred so in the remaining 99 matches, we get nothing.

Lol! It was hilarious watching Rohit's reaction to Iyer's crazy spiderman catch. One captain removed the other captain stylishly. Currently, the game seems 50:50, but I still feel Punjab should win this one thanks to MI posting a below par total despite De Kock's century.

Also, I still can't believe Chahal dropped such an easy catch while Iyer took a blinder. The way the Mumbai stadium just shut down after that catch was hilarious to say the least. Go Punjab!
