I saw few overs but had other chores, so I didn't watch the game but how can they only score 159? Wasn't the pitch that slow? MI is making an average CSK bowling unit to look lethal in my opinion. And CSK made terrible changes too, they failed in their batting in the last match but changed. Akeal Hussain didn't even make sense at all. They won the game but both teams need to have someone who can think straight in the dugout if they ever want to match their previous performances.

I think the biggest obstacle to Bangladesh's innings was the dismissal of Liton Das shortly after the start of the game after the rain and in a very short time, the highest run scorer of the previous match, Towhid Hridoy, was also dismissed. Due to this series of wickets, Bangladesh could not bat for 15 times. If Bangladesh could have batted for 130-40 runs in any over, then there would have been a great chance for Bangladesh to win. I don't think that Mumbai has any realistic chance of qualifying to the playoffs. They have just 4 points. And entire tactic of bringing in Hardick Pandya and making him the captain of the team (after replacing Rohit Sharma) has backfired on Mumbai Indians. Although Hardick himself has performed decently so far, team's repeated failures can be blamed on poor tactics and team selection. IMO, three teams have an outside chance of qualifying for the knockout phase: Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. But there is only a very small probability of this happening.

Actually Bangladesh batsmen lack consistency no batsman can do well consistently.

Anyway even though Shariful Islam created pressure by dismissing New Zealand top order batsmen but the target was not big enough due to which they lost. Because 103 runs off 90 balls was not very difficult, if Bangladesh could have scored 130+ then the result of the match could have been different.
