Like the previous match, Islamabad won the toss and decided to bowl first. When the pitch is good, it would have been better to bat first. Chasing always adds a bit more pressure. Despite losing the first wicket, Hyderabad didn't have any problem batting first. Even though they lost a few wickets in the middle, Usman Khan and Perera's 101-run partnership with just 52 balls helped Hyderabad to post a very good total of 186. When Kingsmen were on less than 130 runs at the 15th over, they had only five overs left more for them, and none of us were expecting good from them because their run rate was also very bad, but then Usman Khan entered the ground, scored match winning runs of 60 plus.

Bangladesh performed very badly in today's match, especially the failure of Bangladesh's top order, as well as the lower order and middle order batsmen performed very badly. Although they were able to bat well especially up to the first 6 overs, the overs were later reduced to 15 overs due to rain. Shoriful Islam build pressure by picked up 3 early and major wickets. Situation in first few overs was quite tensed for NZ. But alone Shoriful Islam effort was not enough. However later Jacob and Foxcroft innings turn the game results. Their innings helped team to brought back the  momnetum. Bevon Jacob finished the game in an elegant way, hit  62 runs on 31 balls added thrilled in the match. NZ finished the game in11th overs only.

The Final: Peshawar Zalmi  vs Hyderabad Kingsmen

Final is most likely to win by Peshawar Zalmi but at the same time if you think from different point of view so Hyderabad Kingsmen are also in their best form, both of the teams have momentum of win, Peshawar almost we can say them as unbeaten while Hyderabad Kingsmen knows how to trick the teams and take the trophy. This is going to be crucial and one of the best finals, I wish to have a suspenseful and nail-biting match because every nail-biting final carries its own enjoyment.

Hyderabad Kingsmen have a good bowling attack with Hunain Shah who can save the team at crucial stages, as we have seen yesterday.

On the other hand, Saim Ayub is a great part-time spinner, he never disappoints us in bowling, though often in batting. How could we miss Akif Javed as well as Muhammad Ali, both are great players that Kingsmen can take advantage of Akif Javed in the early power play overs, while Muhammad Ali is the most suitable option in the middle order, as well as you can take him in any stage of the game, he always look for attack.

220-250 scorelines are boring, 150-160 scores are boring as well and now we are left with 180-190 range. .

Mumbai is almost out from the playoffs race. They have only 5 matches left and could only secure 10 points given they win their remaining matches and even then they will be dependent on other teams.

I don't think that Mumbai has any realistic chance of qualifying to the playoffs. They have just 4 points. And entire tactic of bringing in Hardick Pandya and making him the captain of the team (after replacing Rohit Sharma) has backfired on Mumbai Indians. Although Hardick himself has performed decently so far, team's repeated failures can be blamed on poor tactics and team selection. IMO, three teams have an outside chance of qualifying for the knockout phase: Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. But there is only a very small probability of this happening.

Top 4 teams already touched 12 points and got 4-6 matches in the bank. Tonight gujju might earn 2 more points, as of now it looks like it. So yeah not a good sign for Mumbai.

Fair amount of chatter about hardik is not receiving support from Indian players in terms of performance and no one taking responsibility.

Punjab Kings vs Gujrat titans

Punjab, who are at the top of the points table, are now playing against Gujarat. Punjab will probably lose today. Punjab's batsmen are not playing well. Punjab has given a target of only 164 runs. There is no chance to call it a good collection on a batting friendly pitch. Punjab's top order has played very badly. If Suryansh Shedge, Stoinis and Marco Jansen had not batted well, Punjab's innings would have ended before 120.
In 9 overs, Gujarat has managed to collect 73 runs and lost two wickets. I would say that Gujarat still has the match under control. But if they lose wickets quickly, the situation will change quickly.

Nishant Sindhu didn't do much today but his body language looked confident, I hope GT will give him couple more chances. Also, GT needs proper middle order batters not all rounders starting 2/3 down and they do have a few.

MI team has scored only 159 runs against CSK team. Currently MI team is not in very good form and they are at the bottom of the points table. CSK team is batting well at the moment to win, although they have already lost two wickets, but if they want to win, they must play with wickets in hand. Ruturaj Gaikwad is in good batting form, if this batsman can bat for a long time, then he will take the team to the victory stage. The Final: Peshawar Zalmi  vs Hyderabad Kingsmen

The way it started by Hyderabad Kingsmen, it was so good for them and dominating the power play but as it ends, the quality of the game got changed before when Siam Ayub was smashing the boundaries at the middle and the depth overs, he even struggled to run between the wickets and up the gear of run rate because it was not his fault.

From the other end, the wickets were continuously falling and of course, what could he do? He would never take a risk and that is a good approach to get out and sit on the bench, it is not the full-time solution.

Damn it! Unpredictable IPL as usual. Lost my bet on SRH thanks to their new players messing the game up when Head gave them an epic start along with Kishan against KKR of all teams surprisingly. Their overdependence on Head, Abhishek, Klassen and Kishan is visible.

On the other hand, my bet on Punjab looks like it might lose thanks to their top order collapsing. Still hope for a magical turn around though.

They took the game too deep, but it shows that GT is too dependent on the top 3 players and even if two of them fail, they will be having hard time even chasing a par score but somehow they have this same formula since last year and in each game, at least one from the top 3 plays the long innings.

Looking at the table, it splits into 2, 12 points until number 5, and then 2 points away for the 6th position.

Now it can get interesting because top teams are playing against each other and some even twice, which means one from the 6th position can see there is still a possibility for them.

On the second over of the second innings, Akif Javed came and he was actually looking for the Leg before wickets but Hardie was facing him and he was playing really classical shots, in fact flick shorts and he had back to back three overs which was so good for Zalmi to make the come back in the game because in the first over Muhammad Ali worked so good with two wickets. It was a superb final.

Hyderabad Kingsmen came in a match like the final and scored only 129 runs after losing all their wickets in 18 overs, which is definitely impressive for a final match. If you exclude Saim Ayub's 54 runs and Marnus Labuschagne's 20 runs in Hyderabad Kingsmen's innings, the remaining batsmen can only score 55 runs.
In this case, Peshawar Zalmi bowlers have to be praised in today's match, especially Australian cricketer Aaron Hardie, who has taken four wickets in the important final match as well as showing a great batting performance for Peshawar Zalmi. So far, he is unbeaten on 55 runs off 38 balls, he is a man of the match for today's final match. Also, Bangladesh bowler Nahid Rana gave a great performance. He took two wickets for just 22 runs in four overs.
