Hardik used to be on op tier when he was leading the GT, and not sure why he wanted to move to MI.

I still miss him in GT tbh. GT would have likely continued to be op team had he stayed there.

Himmat Singh at no.7 and Aiden Markram at no.5 were the main culprits why LSG ended up with a total of less than 240. When these two joined at the crease, the total was 160/5 after 12.1 overs. Himmat kept most of the strike with himself, and in the next 8 overs, they scored just 68 runs.

Not sure why they sat out Mukul when he can finish well. At times I feel LSG management is just no good.

Chances for Chennai Super Kings squad to reach top four have increased and they are currently in 6th position. Their match was against Delhi Capitals, which they won quite simply and making it one sided match by restricting Delhi Capitals to low total. Delhi Capitals squad was started match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 155 scores just off 20 overs inning. Noor Ahmad bowler performance was impressive and played major role in getting victory and he picked up 2 wickets of Delhi Capitals squad. Sanju Samson was top performer and scorer of this match and he really played superb batting inning and he managed to collect 87 scores. Kartik Sharma  also built partnership and he collected 41 scores off 31 deliveries.

Most amazing thing about Chennai at the moment is way they have remedied their bowling in powerplay. They were giving away too many runs in early part of season but now they appear to be much more disciplined. Despite fact that LSG is not in good shape, Chennai should be cautious since it is not easy task to play same team back to back as opponent will learn your strategies soon.
I think that choice of pitch to be subjected to in two matches follows. Whereas tracks played will be either slow or fast paced, spinners of Chennai will reign supreme and their way to top 4 will be much easier. It is not only aboutwinning of those matches, but about preserving this high level of energy until knock out stages start. They are experienced and at this point, they possess momentum.

Sanju Samson has been performing consistently well since the final match of the T20 World Cup. However, it is definitely a plus point for Chenna because Chennai, despite losing in the initial stages, has maintained its winning streak towards the end.

They are suffering due to baddua from the fans, yet to encounter any cricket fan who happens to genuinely support lucknow or has something good to say and it's nothing related to cricket but their owner and PR machinery.

Pooran was in godmode form then he retired from the international cricket (t-20) and almost lost his mojo. Having said that, he's still explosive batter and can win matches for you singlehandly, given he clicks.

Also, if shami is not picking early wickets then their bowling plans go down the drain.

On a note, commentators keep referring dropped catches as 'slight misjudgement' which reminded me of this tweet I read earlier.

No connection with any team, far too many games, totally dominated by batters hard to distinguish one game from the next, constant TV coverage of players wifes and girlfriends, uncritical and fawning commentary.

Ishan Kishan also played an innings of 55 runs.

Hyderabad's bowlers have also performed well so far. Punjab have lost their two openers by just 4 runs. After 11 overs, their total is 109 for the loss of 4 wickets. Cooper Connolly is unbeaten on 41 runs off 27 balls. Suryansh Shedge is at the crease with 25 runs. Punjab need 127 runs from 54 balls.

Guys what do you think about the Pakistan Bangladesh series? They have also picked Shaheen Shah Afridi in the squad. I dont understand why they included him because he bowled very poorly in the PSL. They should drop him from the team and tell him to work on his pace and line and length if he wants to come back.

Pakistan needed the experience of Shaheen Shah Afridi in Test, he might not be in the best form in limited overs but in Test he might perform with the old ball reversing and he reduced his pace because of injury concerns and he has recurring knee issues.

Bringing back Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam for the series was a good move, the selectors are looking for the best combination of experience and youth and this can be called a revenge series after loosing to Bangladesh on home soil in 2024.

Interesting to see whether Abdullah Fazal, Azan Awais, Amad Butt and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori gets the opportunity to make their Test debut.

Brother I m just saying that Shaheen Shah Afridi has a knee injury which is why he has lost his pace. Yes I understand its very hard luck for him, but whats done is done. He has already played a lot for the Pakistan team. Now he should step back a little to give chances to other bowlers like Ali Raza and a few more because they are the future of Pakistan cricket. Thats why the selection team and coaches should now focus on Ali and other young bowlers instead of trying to bring Shaheen back to form immediately. Entertaining at its best in this season because more boundaries and centuries are coming, but this entertainment is just with the bat and not with ball or fielding. This is going to be problem, they need a few bowler-friendly wickets also.

Cooper is going to be a big name in Aussies cricket, he has enough depth for giving his best in all conditions.

Today SRH are now at the top of the league table, but PBKS have a chance to overtake them again. Their next game is against DC at home. Tomorrow, RCB is going to entertain bottom-side LSG.

After seeing such a huge score by Sunrisers Hyderabad, I first thought that Travis Head might have scored a good score today, but even if he could not score very well here, he could at least score an average score which contributed to this match to some extent. But if I talk about Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ishan Kishan, then of course their contribution was a lot today. Everyone in the top order played well and as a result they were able to score 235 runs.

And here the Punjab Kings batsmen tried to chase the target by batting well, but they were not able to.

Punjab Kings shown a brave and modern cricket batting against a huge target of two hundred plus runs given by Hyderabad Sunrises but Punjab Kings lost this game. Hyderabad opens innings first and the openers gives a very solid start to the team through ultra aggressive batting and in middle order Klasen was so good and showing his class and aggression of batting by putting imapactful half century and Hyderabad put the huge target of two hundred plus runs on score board. Punjab kings batters are well known to chase these targets and they doing it a couple of time in this tournament and the openers was not so impactful but in middle order Cooper Connelly played like one man army and put a remarkable century and also Marcus was so impressive but Punjab kings don't chase the target and Sunrises Hyderabad won this game and goes to on top in point table.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Tomorrow is the 50th game of the IPL, which will be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants. Of course, the match is most likely to win by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, advise all of you to make your bets on RCB for sure. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants, with a poor game mindset and innings, have won just two games so far and are most likely to get out of the tournament, such are the teams that used to provide free points to the opposition.
