They should have scored a few more runs. However, I will say that the rest of the bowlers of Sunrisers Hyderabad, except Praful Hinge and Nitish Kumar Reddy, bowled well. And Hyderabad batsmen Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan have won the match by 5 wickets with one over to spare.

Kartik Sharma and Brevis patnership added good score on the board. Pat Cummins and Sakib Hussain from SRH, both played a nice spell and collectively took 5 wickets. 180 target set out by Chennai Super King for Sunriser. That's a modest but pitch was not good and easy for the batsman. SRH lost their important player Travis Head at powerplay. Even though SRH try hard for the win. Especially Ishan Kishan who showed an immense calm during the pressure. And his innings was incredible 70 for 47 balls. Heinrich Klassen also provided support with 47 runs. Last over was highly tensed when win was uncertain. But Arora sum up the match in the favour of SRH. They secured the win by 5 wickets and provided good day for their fans.

This is why I have been saying that Sanju Samson's move to the Chennai Super Kings was a tactical mistake by the CSK management. They spent a huge amount of money, and in the end the team balance was destroyed. And Samson plays a good knock only once every 4-5 matches. And they don't have any backup for the other matches. Ruturaj Gaikwad as the captain has proved to be the other disaster for this season. He is neither scoring runs, nor excelling in the captaincy department. And the less talked about their bowlers, that better. I don't think that CSK will manage to qualify for the playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have now secured their playoff berth with victories over likes of Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru etc. Cracking 181 at Chepauk is never easy, as pitch slows up in lights and it is really difficult for new hitters to clear boundary. Experience of Ishan Kishan was deciding factor and his brilliant knock of 70 runs anchored chase and he played cricket at perfect pace alongside Heinrich Klaasen.
This loss is huge blow for Chennai Super Kings top four aspirations. Their middle order was given chance by Dewald Brevis with his big knock but bowling group could not hold them back. This has opened race for last playoff seat up completely as everyone now looks to next big clash between the Rajasthan Royals and LSG, where stakes will be very high.

Yes, both GT and SRH got Q under their name on the points table, which leaves only 1 spot and theoretically, 5 teams are fighting for that spot but it is most likely RR because they got 2 games in their hands while others got each remaining.

What if KKR qualifies with an odd point?

Anything can happen at the end of the day. RR does have the highest chances followed by Punjab, but Rajasthan are totally out of form just like Punjab which is why I am seriously curious to see who will actually end up taking that final playoffs spot.

I disagree. It was right move, and from looks of it, even Sanju looks more at home with CSK.

And when he does, CSK wins the game. This tells you, rest of CSK needs to do better rather depending on Sanju.

I think that for teams that are coming it will be test of skills to play tournament at this pace on traditional spinning track overseas. Teams will be more accustomed to quick and bouncy conditions at home and slower surface will open up new set of playing styles. It makes coaches look at their bowling line up in different light and to go with slow bowlers to raw pace. Travel arrangements will be difficult, but people will feel tournament is larger and more important when it is played in front of enthusiastic, full house.
