Well its easy to say but I don't see any coin in top 100 is able to surpass bitcoin in near future. Bitcoin has almost 52$ dominance in the whole crypto market. Even in the current market I don't see any other coin has such potential to surpass btc. Even rank 2 coin ripple also has huge difference in total marketcap as compare to btc I see no other coin is near to btc.

It is possible of course but it would take a long long time and really huge some of money before any new project could surpass the popularity and usefulness of bitcoin because believe it or not all other altcoins are very dependent with bitcoin and bitcoin can just go on without the altcoins so it would not be so easy for any project to let btc down because of having huge market cap alone.

so I am guessing, this are the top contenders among top 100 coins: XRP, TRX, XLM, BCH, XMR, LTC, and ETH, yes you are probably right, it may pass Bitcoin Cap, but until such ETF or implimentations will happen first before BTC does of course.

I am personally not a fan of the "One coin rules the world" outlook but I still don't think it will descend in the market cap list just yet.

just look at how the altcoin is developing, the price is still following BTC, when BTC goes down another altcoin meal will follow it, and I think it will take a long time to beat BTC.

What coin do you mean, second question is many coins already listed and survive and do you see any one of them cross bitcoin as the leader?. You have faith but you don't see reality so if you still keep your faith I think try is better. Do your activity using your coins and see what happen, profit you'll get but replacement bitcoin " NO ".

What coin do you mean, second question is many coins already listed and survive and do you see any one of them cross bitcoin as the leader?. I've never think it also, it is somewhat ridiculous if that will happen. I don't see any coin among of them could resist to overtake Bitcoin's market cap, and even ETH and Ripple don't have a chance knowing that they are in the tail of bitcoin, how about the others? Of course, it won't and no chances at all even we go for a hundred years from now.

If we look the CMC chart, it definitely we can see that Bitcoin market cap is very far from the others and it continuously to grow every year. No doubts that Bitcoin will remain at its position and its numbers. Bitcoin have lead the crypto space and nothing could rid it away. Even the crisis rise up but still many investors have trusted this coin and it makes its market cap remains on the top.

Well if I am right then yes it might be the case. I dont really get it. Why invest with crypto currencies when you will just pick the same value as USD. Why not just invest it with fiat USD itself.

I dont any Tether in my wallet and I dont even want to. I'd still rather convert my altcoi s into BTC or ETH rather than that.

I think that's just a prediction. As for now, no coin ever can be as valued as bitcoin. As some says that bitcoin can be say as gold since it has a very high market value. If there would be a single coin that can be equal to bitcoin i think in the future years of cryptocurrency.

I don't see any better. from year to year is indeed a lot of coins began experiencing an increase. However still bitcoin still became the most superior and there is no competitor could come close to even move it. the dominance of the bitcoin certainly also because of the quality of the other coins as a reference, and this continued to make increasingly larger bitcoin and not easily rivaled in the upper position.

It would be revolutionary to have any altcoin surpass the market cap of Bitcoin. I personally don't see any coin gaining such feat anytime soon because the market cap of Bitcoin is over 40% of the entire coin market cap, this makes bitcoin the most recognized cryptocurrency. Ethereum is unique and has a higher probability of increase in the market cap, but surpassing Bitcoin is laughable.

Yes, the OP should reveal the secret. It is easy to make a riddle like that without any substantiation. I also don't see any coin or token capable of surpassing bitcoin in marketcap, or in any other metrics for that matter. I will stay tuned for sure, but don't expect to see any significant change at the top with regards to market cap. OP, just let us know how long we should wait, cause it may be a long indefinite wait for your prediction to come true.

There is no secret anywhere. It is just an opinion. Although in time, I believe that bitcoin lead will be strongly challenged but not in this time of bear run.

I don't see it, from crypto history I don't think anything can exceed bitcoin in terms of coinmarketcap volume. I hear a number of issues regarding altcoin ripple and XLM, if it's about volume manipulation on ripple I've heard that.

      I have not seen a single one but with this situation in which all altcoin are also down , so I think It is very impossible that this will happen to BTC which will replace by any of altcoins by means of market cap.

I wonder what is the coins because in the top 100 list, every coin have the same possibility to be the next higher price in the future and we don't know which one. Maybe you can give a clue so we can try to search deeper from the list and I want to know about what research you already did so we can share what we know. I only know bitcoin is the most profitable coins at the cryptocurrency and I believe the price can increase higher in the future so I really want to know which coins that can compete with bitcoin.

I don't see any other coin coming along to threated Bitcoin's dominance of the market in the near term and with a current share of 52% of the total market it is in a solid position for now. Things may look different in a couple of years but for now the status quo is maintained.

I do not see, for sure, that any coins in top 100 to surpass BTC for the, at least, next 5 years. There were many expectations of many coins in the past about top 10 or 20 coins that will surpass in the couple of last years, but neither of them even touch the half of marketcap which BTC acquired, even all other top coins still 5 or 6 times behind the marketcap of BTC.

I don't think so, that is still way to early for the other cons to be able to catch up with the value of bitcoin.
the altcoins need to get increased many thousands fold to be able to catch up bitcoin.
