In 1 year the stats will look like that,
  • With 32,713,560 GRIN in circulation, there will be a 0.0792% monthly emission, that will be very similar to Ravencoin's 1 year.
  • With 5,411,920,000 RVN in circulation, there will be a 0.0399% monthly emission.

I'm probably missing something here, but how are you calculating monthly emission rate? My understanding is there's 86,400 GRIN mined per day, which is a helluva lot more than 0.0792% per month.

Grin doubles between year 1 & year 2 (from 32 million to 64 million).

So that's about just over 0.27% daily inflation or 8.3% monthly inflation
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Pump & Dump?

maybe after Binance listing

There is no one to pay the $2 million listing fee, so will take much longer.

Grin will pay the same listing fee as Ravencoin paid.  Cool

I don't know what listing fee Ravencoin might have paid, but for community driven projects which take a lot of attention, it makes sense for exchanges to list them for free or with big discounts.
When the community is big, the exchanges want to grab customers from that community.
I don't think anyone ever paid for BTC or ETH to be listed anywhere!

https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1050326256841940994

"Back to listing.  Ravencoin, no ICO, community project, humble people, no listing fee."

CZ listed Ravencoin for free.

Binance has not yet begun amassing a big pile of Grin hehehe. If it does, Grin will be listed for free.

Some exchanges sometimes take more money from amassing a coin then pump and dump it than the listing fee, I reckon.

Successful resistance found  at ~ 0.0014 so far, but testing thoroughly at 0.0015-0.0018BTC.
Thinking to buy half of my stack back at those prices, and placing orders for the other half below that, and down to the 0.0010 wall.
Hopefully by then it will bounce back to anything up to 0.0040 or more. If it doesn't, it will be a world of shit. Grin

Grin is like an inverse Bytecoin scam, the founders get nothing together with the community - because of the ridiculous emission curve.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/tiny/grin-lead-developer-in-a-powerful-message-im-disappointed-by-the-way-the-industry-around-grin-is-shaping-up/

That didn't lasted long! The Monero devs spent years crawling in the altcoin section together with the likes of piggycoin and whitecoin without funding and constant trolling, and they had little to none mainstream crypto support at the time, which was also negligible.

Quite fail any grin donations are devalued over time

We are finding support on the yellow line, but volume is declining.  So we either continue to carefully and slowly climb the yellow line or head back down to retest previous 'bottom' at 0.00145

Morning!

Got an entry at ~ 0.0016. We'll see how it goes today.

Another 'indicator' that keeps fluctuating, is theymos BTC/Grin payments pair indicator. Roll Eyes
Currently set at:

~ 0.0020 per Grin. Grin

Good volume fight between bears and bulls at 0.00153.  Price decline has flattened for now.

Looking for upwards momentum to build.

Well, HotBit and QBTC is 100% faking their volume and my personal opinion is that BitForex is also faking their volume, though I'm not sure.
I don't know about Gate.io neither.

KuCoin is high enough in volume if they don't fake any of it. What we need is an overall awareness for GRIN and then real volume will appear in reputable exchanges.

Bitforex *might* be legit.

I counted about 2,000 Grin traded last hour and they are reporting 100k per day which is an average of 4K per hour.
