@LUCKMCFLY. Your long analysis condensed in one picture hehehe.

@Cryptotourist. Grin might not fall to sub dollar prices, however it might also not sustain a type of price increase similar to bitcoin.

Inflation will be over 10% for the next 10 years and I am certain some large bagholders will be selling on the pump during periods of fomo. Grin might be more like dogecoin for the first few years before becoming something like bitcoin, I reckon.

The Grin development team were very serious when they said that Grin is not for getting rich quick.
My analysis is based on Wyckoff's philosophy, maybe it's a bit early to do it, but it's my way of looking at trade. However, I did it at 4 hrs. It does not mean that the analysis tells me that you can not become a millionaire with GRIN from one day to the next.
My way of analyzing the market is very different, that is why I take into account the USDT and the decisions I make to enter / BTC with all the altcoins, not only based on the technical analysis with indicators, I see some phases and volumes. ,  Offer and demand. Also keep in mind that I am a market speculator in the medium or long term. The beauty of commerce is that we all think differently, and so far this type of analysis has helped me to better understand the market and, especially, to stop losses. In these moments, since it is in a clear phase of accumulation, it would be excellent to buy, because I know that when Bitcoin rises, GRIN will go up, and those that bought cheaply will have great benefits. In short, GRIN must maintain and not sell cheaply.

A safe bet today is going short with high leverage on British Pound Sterling and GRIN for getting rich quick.

Oh a short squeeze is also fine by me, it doesn't have to be FOMO  Roll Eyes
Right now shorting any PoW or PoS coin seems to be a good idea... I believe this because there are less buyers than there used to be but a lot more coins which were created during 2018.
The inflow we have right now into cryptocurrencies is not enough to counter the dumping from the newly forged coins every PoW or PoS blockchain issues as block rewards... we're spread too thin across too many projects and it's hard even for experienced investors to single out good projects like GRIN and HOLD them, so there's a lot of dumping of anything mine-able.

What I also believe however, is that the market is crooked, so I'm sure that one day we'll wake up and we'll see a 100% rise in everything. The next day another 50%... people will wait for a correction but we'll be flat for a week and then another 100%... then FOMO for a few days and then back down 50% in one day.
My point is: DON'T SHORT ANYTHING... there's no limit to the upside. At least there's a limit to the downside so going long is safer.

I reckon everyone should compare Grin to the other more similar cryptocoin with a similar monetary policy. Dogecoin. Everyone is busy comparing Grin's monetary policy with Ethereum's monetary policy, however, they are very different projects.

Are we bouncing or what? Grin

Yes we are hehehe. This is not the big sustainable bounce, however. Do not neglect the fact that Grin's monetary policy emits 10% inflation for the first 10 years. Most of those newly mined coins will certainly be dumped by the miners.

Thats apples and oranges though, Doge was capped when launched as well as being already well known with the plebs. Also Doge is currently merge mined with a top 10 coin. Not to mention doge brings nothing new to the table whatsoever and grin has cutting edge privacy features, the two are just UN-comparable.

Such tech, much value wow.

Doge is a shitcoin and it embraces its place as a shitcoin which makes doge stronger instead of making it weaker. I don't know any other coin that follows the way of shiba.

@Hueristic. Grin and dogecoin are not wholly different in what they are today. They are both seeking to be currencies and they have a similar monetary policy in their present form.

This is not apples and oranges. However, it is a granny smith apples and red delicious apples comparison hehehe.

Also, by my reckoning the apples and oranges comparison is more between Ethereum and Grin.

I meant "tech" wise it brought nothing new, socially it broke barriers, I guess I should have qualified that statement (interwebs are a bitch). I was making an observation based on the facts that it is not possible to compare the two prices not whether Doge was a worthwhile endeavour or not. I actually like it and am glad it brought so many good people into this scene.

Because they wash trade grin then?  Half or more then half of exchanges wash trade so they show high volume and that way makes them self look more legitimate and attract new traders.  There guys are doing good job calling wash trade exchanges https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/   But they had not made fresh report some time now.  Last thing I saw  them tweet they are making new website.

@amruleshare. I am not certain if this is the situation up until now. However, I reckon it might also be because Bittrex and Poloniex's wallets are disabled for withdrawals.

isn't that  better for the price will look stable because most of the new coins by mine are still in the miner's personal wallet, I also do not believe the hotbit exchange has a significant $grin in their wallet, This is nonsense ! Kucoin $Grin Available

I feel like the price will recover when ASICs join the network.
Ofcourse it's only a wild guess, but I suppose that whoever invests in a (probably) costly ASIC will have a long-term belief in GRIN, therefore they'll hold at least some amount of what they mine.

Hopefully whatever miner is released will be efficient enough in order to not waste much energy, both because of the environment and because we don't want GRIN to be sold for fiat to pay the electricity bills.

Hey guys,

Im not sure if you guys are following grin forks, but here is a really interesting one, especially because they just released a GUI wallet which also works for Grin itself.

Check it out:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5104608.msg50136451#msg50136451

and say thanks to me later Tongue

Btw, i think Grin will see sub/close to 2$ before finding a bottom here...
