@Karto. The cause of a good amount of the dumping is from the miners themselves because it would be safer for them to sell and hold every grin they mine in bitcoin, also because bitcoin holds value much better than grin does.

Sub $1.00 is only a matter of time, I reckon.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hGyC8tSivtZqjlu8aQgjG0pKfKc0L0RO0leMfjPADp0/htmlview#gid=0

so very important difference with monero, with large inflation.

Agreed. However, Grin might attain wider distribution among the populace because of its high inflation in the first 25 years and the constant issuance of 60 coins per minute.

This what everyone has been saying since the first page. The amount of inflation is just too big to hodl this coin.

If you don't sell, somebody is going to and he is going to wreck you. And now you know he is going to dump, you also dump which makes this coin a dumping race.

That's the main problem with unlimited supply. And in this example it is not just that. It is unlimited supply combined with huge inflation.

This is depressingly ugly.  Grinding along the edge of the precipice with no sign of a bounce.  If we break under 52k sats, there are no technical supports left.

@Hueristic. But only currently, however. Grin will have less than 5% inflation within 25 years similar to what bitcoin began to have after the first 8 years of its existence.

@HairyMaclairy. I reckon you already sold and waiting for sub $1.00 with the rest of us hehehe?

Fair call.  I sold all my Grin a long time ago.

It’s ok.  Am watching closely and am patient. I don’t have a specific price target, but will know it when I see it.

My GRIN investment strategy is to attempt to keep at least $X worth of GRIN and rebuy every 3 months if it drops below that value. If it goes above $X then I won't do anything, just HODL.

56,000 sats is holding, albeit on very low and declining volume.

Daily 10 Moving Average, 20 Moving Average and 30 Moving Average all remain in inverted bearish formation (Green, Yellow and Orange respectively).

Even don't apply those technical indicators, 10 MA, 20 MA, and 30 MA, the chart strongly points out that we have been in the end of falling process, and Grin coin has come closer to the point, from which it will rally significantly. No one knows how long Grin coin will stay in the price range as its accumulation, but it will bounce back from the range certainly. Three indicators above (10 MA, 20 MA, 30 MA) are good supplement things for the coming rally of Grincoin.

I hate to be the FUD-bringer, but I felt I should warn you with a simple fact:
Coin "A" could fall from 2$ to 0.20$ and then eventually pump to 2$. That's 10x returns, right? Yea but only for those who bought that bottom, those holding since 2$ won't gain anything.

I'm not saying GRIN will follow the example of my hypothetical coin "A", I'm just saying that your idea of "every coin eventually pumps" is a logic fallacy and I wanted to warn you to be careful if you invest with this goal! Smiley

There is no fud on grin, however, only basic economics. Its monetary policy is to overwhelm the market of its supply and create it to be a medium of exchange in the beginning before it becomes a store of value.
