I will start investing in ICO f the market condition improve and there is a long series of a bull run, on our last bull run, even those projects that are considered as shitcoins are getting volumes and people are buying them, now even if the project is good it cannot keep up because of the market situation.

market sentiment give serious influenced to cryptocurrency price.most of them prefer saving their money till ETF approved.and there is no more speculation about it.if this fundamental already clear maybe investors dare to come back.

Green market, as we know that the thing that makes investors hesitate to place their money is the number of scam projects that make market red, of course it is very risky to place money on the ICO which is never clearly.

If you want to invest in an ICO, then your second reason is void because you can always invest at the tail end of the ICO like maybe the last day, that way you wouldn't have to wait any additional time anymore.

If there is a good and potentially ico in the future, of course I will invest in ico, indeed now it is difficult to get good and correct ico, but I am sure there are still ico who have good potential and from here we can analyze or search for good ico so that not trapped in ico who is a scam

Today it is too difficult to choose the right ICO because every ICO is not in a good position especially if the ICO were listed on the market. Almost all of the ICO doesn't have a good price, and even the price is still lower than the ICO price. I don't want to advise to invest in the ICO right now, and I will suggest investing in the bitcoin or the altcoin only. Although we can found one project which looks good, it doesn't guarantee to see the project can continue in the bearish market because they need to reschedule their project until the market can recover.

I will start investing in ICOs if
1) they can afford funds on there own to run there projects and stop relying on softcaps and hardcaps(investors money) which is why its the perfect haven for scammers ,you want to create a project that is very promising and you don't have the funds just move on ,no matter how good the project is if the hardcap is not achieved its goodbye

2)the waiting game is annoying ,if they follow my 1st idea there won't be anything holding them back especially bounty rewards ,nowadays you have to wait months for ICO to end and keep praying it become successful so as to get your rewards and the term successful from any ICO is from 'achievement of hardcaps ' this days not what the project is here to deliver ,there are still good projects out there that never launch ICO and they are doing better

ICO in this business can give an opportunity and can also give us a lesson if we choose a wrong project. So I there for conclude, since that we are experiencing bear market were most of the ico project also are turn scam in the end of the project, we need to be careful in choosing ico project. But my suggestion or tips instead of investing in the ico, I think it is much better to buy coins in the exchange that are belongs to top 10  altcoins, at least there's a high chances you can get a big profit in the end.

You say everything is true, but most likely no one will follow your idea. Yes, and many of the following examples, like to some extent. Why do you like them? Because they continue to take part further.

I agree with your statement. There are projects that do not hold any fees. And an order of magnitude more successful. Why Because at first they developed a product and gave a turnkey solution for the market. But they did not raise money and disappeared.

2) When people start to buy crypto to use instead of just treating it as an investment

2017 a [roject called NIMFA TOKEN launched their ICO but suddenly they did not reach the soft cap.
I thought the project will end there but i was wrong. THE CEO continue the project and burned all the unsold tokens leaving the total supply to 2MM NIMFA.
The ICO price was 5USD and the token price starts in the market at 0.06 USD. Another failure for the project token.
But after 2 months and the team launch their platform the token went to an ATH of 20USD per token.

Oh, with the title, it would seem to reader that you are some very important person. Anyway, who cares if you invest or not,  ICO companies do not rely on you.

I really agree with your opinion number 1, I met an ICO project that has been running without relying on the sales revenue of the Token. And that was indeed very successful, only lacking extensive marketing. I am sure that such a project must be good and clearly rare.

Such kind of projects are worth to be trusted and also most of the investors are always in search of such projects. ROI is quite quick in such projects and also investors find them more trustworthy. such projects do not do much on their marketing and focus on the growth of the project indeed so they always have a good future but less investors.

In my case, I guess I will start investing in an ICO if I can see some great ICO also if the market is going well, not with this kind of condition at the moment where market seems to fall further.

Now investing in ICO is still very risky, although there are still many good ICO projects. I think your idea is good, but it's very difficult to find an ICO project like that. For now, stay patient and wait for the market to pump again.

I think STO is very suitable for you, it has many criteria that make an investor as you want. However, in my opinion, the STOs are only for investors with large amounts, it is not like ICO when you can invest with a minimum amount of 0.1 or 0.5 ETH.

The answer on number one is a good idea. They shouldn't fully rely on the investor on their project term. They should have enough fund to make startup on their project. Hopefully this can be done.

Man, some founders don't have enough money for personal funding. At the same time their idea is outstanding, so why don't you invest in their technology?

Self funding of blockchain  project is a good idea, but most of the funders don't have the funds to finance those projects. This sent of people have a great idea that can contribute to the growth of blockchain technology and be of benefits to all enthusiasts here in the cryptosystem.
I think the STO project will be of more benefit to investors and less risk compare to ICO which is the new way of raising funds this days.
