I feel you. I had the same problem with TRC20 fees before. I thought Tron network has low fees, but I was wrong. For stablecoins on TRC20, the fees are really high. Even ERC20 fees are lower. You can track fees of stablecoins here gasfeesnow.com

I had checked the withdrawal fee before making the deposit. But I wasn't aware of the separate coin system of USDT at EarnBet. Almost every casino allows the user to withdraw the funds on any network. I hope the EarnBet team will change the system.

Not a total failure since they served its purpose which is to solve the scalability issue of ERC20 blockchain. Without them the transaction on Ethereum network will be back to the previous congested network that will result to higher fees.

I don't think it would be that easy. They have to convert the token/coin first into whatever network or chain you want it to withdraw and that might cost additional fees.
I don't know how their casino works internally, but on most decentralized exchanges, moving a coin/token to another network or chain usually means bridging it, utilizing bridging platforms like Across Protocol or Hop Protocol. Ex. USDT on ETH to USDT in Polygon. And, this is only for stablecoins. It's even more complex when it involves a coin like BTC, LTC, TRX, and you want it to be withdrawn to say, the Ethereum network; they might need to exchange it to a stablecoin first (that's an additional cost).
