Your guts might be right on this because I have seen their sports related posts this month also. Maybe it's just for some SEO and algorithm priming or community testing or just a content first marketing stunt to see how users react before they commence launch.

Seeing that the support team had no idea about a sportsbook, it seems likely that the sports content posted on X has nothing to do with any upcoming feature. I think they are only running those sports related giveaways as promotions. Because they have posted about UFC 328 and asked who would we pick, but the event has already been ended. They have selected 2 winners and posted that more giveaways soon. Btw, for their tweet with Sean Strickland victory and belt, they have chosen wrong video That video is from UFC 293 when he beat Israel Adesanya and won belt for first time.
