I did not experience the bitcoin price situation in 2008 because I have only joined the bitcoin world and crypto currency since 2016,
but I once learned about the state of bitcoin at that time from the experience of my colleague who had joined since the beginning of bitcoin was created, but I can't regret anything, I never expected back to a time when bitcoin was cheap or expensive, I hope that in the future bitcoin prices will continue to increase.

To flash back it today, I'm still unable to understand all their worries, it may be the reason of age-gap, the one age group that felt stronger came from the older generation.

At the time I had no money so I was not personally affected by the crisis that happened at the time but I could see the lives of people getting harder especially those that had little business since they needed small loans at the time and banks were not giving loans to anyone, also many people that were thinking about retiring needed to postpone their retirement and some still have not retired to this date and I have doubts they will and it seems to me we are going to see a repetition of what we saw back then.

the guy above you is talking about the year 2008 not 2018 but i agree in you . the year 2018 is verry simillar on the current year that we have right now because both year have the same price  but we'll never know if 2019 will be slighty different because we still have 3 more quarters to go  .

and why not ? there is nothing wrong in comparing . people only compare because they see that the prices of cryptos do have a simillarities when you look at its price history  .  the price might be closely simillar but the adoption on this current year is more over compare to the past existence of cryptos  .

The situation is certainly different, at that time people were not familiar with bitcoin, the number of users was still small, trust in bitcoin was still low, and so forth. lucky people who invest in bitcoin at that time. whereas currently bitcoin already has tens of millions of users, and many people believe in this investment, the only thing that is still the same is, the potential of bitcoin is still huge.

Those investors back in 2008 didn't expect that the price of bitcoin will become profitable. All of us surprised because of its profitable value nowadays. This is the proof that the price of the bitcoin is continuing to grow up as time passing by.

I've known bitcoin before many other people. In 2010 I couldn't remember exactly how much bitcoin I had but it was close to almost 600. This really is the perfect experience for me. Of course, in 2010 bitcoin has not good worth compared to 2019 but it makes me happy that when I thinking of old days. Well we compare because it is very important to know if price of bitcoin is increasing with time or it is decreasing, so that’s why we are comparing both years, but in 2018 I was not worry even price was too low but still I was holding and I was waiting for this time to when it will start increasing once again so here we are in 2019 gradually everything is being normal once again.

The banks were badly hit and they were not having money to give out in the first place and the government had to intervene and help the banks recover from their losses. I had my loss in the share market and lost a huge amount which i was able to recover later when the market reached new heights as well as the bitcoin market helped me tremendously in giving me the returns after that.

also many people that were thinking about retiring needed to postpone their retirement and some still have not retired to this date and I have doubts they will and it seems to me we are going to see a repetition of what we saw back then.

If you are talking about early retirement, yes the crisis shattered many lives but there is an age for retirement even if you are not willing to   . Comedy aside we might see financial crisis every now and then but i do not think we will see the crises of the same magnitude like we saw in 2008 in some years to come, it is a cycle and it might happen in the next twenty to thirty years or even before that time.
