The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may.
Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year?
What are you're thoughts

i think the reward wont have enough effect to the market when the price has already low, a few reward can not easily change it, however i believe there will be more bull runs in this year but i guess it wont last for long because there are not much whales investing in Bitcoin anymore.

If we judge how it happened in the past, then 1 year before the cut of the reward for bitcoin mining, its price began to rise. Therefore, in may 2019, we may see the beginning of the rise in the price of bitcoin, but the main growth of its price will be in 2010-21 years.

There are no signs for the bull run at this time, 2019 is just starting and still long. Crypto's journey is indeed full of mystery and can only monitor, hoping that the next few months will start to improve and get a bull next year.

I have a feeling if they price of BTC do not go lower than $3k come May, the opportunity to buy BTC cheap again has been lost for the next 4 years, because this is going to kick start a new bull run, which will likely be stronger than any we have seen in previous years.

We will see a recovery in the market this year around and hopefully the market will drive to an all time high by 2021. Usually in the past the market behaves like that during the time of halving and hopefully we will see the same this time around too. There will be other factors too driving the market but we will see the changes this year and then we will have an idea on how the market moves.

Probably It will. But not instantly. Block halving is one of the things that might trigger a bull run but more important than the block halving is the market cycle. Crypto markets move with cycles and every new bear cycle will last longer than the older one. This will go like this till there is no money left to be made.

I think we'll see a new bull run this year. Maybe not up to 2017 heights, but I would say more than double current prices is certainly achievable. For huge rises we probably need institutional investment, which is probably tied to SEC and ETF.

I think yes but it will not get as powerful pumping as we expected. Our market is now in a slow recovery state and it will not bring too much faith to us.
We are at a difficult time and we need to be more patient to wait for a great market. Soon give up just say that you are an impatient and easily defeated person.

Doubts could be normal to everyone, we felt it cause we care of our future. It is pretty obvious that more people will felt that the same but they tried to control such feelings cause it will only affect their focus and being optimistic. Not only to give hope for us but I believe there will be a time for bull run.

I have a strong feeling that it will. My basis is on what happened  last 2016 and the best effect took lately by 2017 which we all know that it's the greatest bull run that we ever had.

The bear's market is still on us and we don't know on how long it will stay. I'm not expecting that this year will end its bear market but it's likely more to happen by 2020-2021.

but in this year i believe bitcoin will touch about 10K USD my friend
2017 was the best bull in crypto world until now,, but 100% i believe the next bull will break the past  

Let's hope for the best  that at least by the end of this year we'll  see $10,000 soonest. 2017 was really the best crypto years but it's already done, we can expect for more with the upcoming years.

Of course I think it will have a big effect. we know the effect of halving beforehand. people will be enthusiastic about returning to buy bitcoin because of rewards or because they believe after that prices will rise. I'm sure this will bring marketcaps and prices up high..

Yes, there's we can do than wait patiently because mansion are not build in a day. However, it will take market Q3 before will could experience bullrun market.

We have to wait and see how long it will take time to recover the prices of bitcoin, but surely the price of bitcoin will increase in the market. We don't know how long it will take time to recover the prices but even we are also waiting for it to recover.

Don't now why you have to say it over and over, but indeed recover is what most of us here are waiting, we do believe that bitcoin will bounce and returned the favor to its true investors, we just don't know yet when that will happen maybe another year or couple of it, but as long as you are a real investor you will be able to wait and hold till the bull happen to be stronger again.

If we see based bitcoin halving perspective, I think there's a strong reason for the price will going up again. And we already see the price's history of bitcoin since halving on 2012 (bull on 2013),  2016 (bull on 2017). So I have a faith it will happen on 2021. Due bitcoin reward are reduce and it will make it rare so the price will jumping.

Next year halving is pivotal to the next bull run. I dont expect the price to respond after the halving but before. It might not hit the height of bullish run we expect but will have significant surge. I believe that's why there is so much manipulation to reach bottom price as early as possible, probably before July, for the whales to have enough in there coffers or wallets.

halving does not mean the price will increase instantly like what happen last year, yes the price increase and reach the ATH but it is temporary and in the end the market investors will dictate the movement.
