Hi guys,
The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may.
Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year?
What are you're thoughts

I think it could well have a big positive effect on price.

For now though it is all about gaining impetus to pull out of the year-long bear cycle. I think this will happen in 2019, probably with BTC leading the way, but there's also a chance that the ETH upgrade could trigger an increase in whole market cap, especially as so many coins trade vs ETH.

I'm so tired of waiting. The capital in my hand melted to a great extent. I've won beautiful profits before. But now he is weary of me. In March, the market may begin to rise.

All are waiting for bull run but it is taking its own time, their are lot of factors which are guiding that this year after 3rd quarter their should be starting of the bull run, hope is always good.

Halving the reward for finding a block is one of the most basic reasons why bitcoin will definitely have to rise in price again. And based on the experience of previous years, the rise in the price of bitcoin may begin long before the onset of this event. I think that will be so. We just have to wait a little bit.

I don't think that 2017 bull run would be the last bull run ever, but I think that for the first time ever, the next bull run will not lead to a new ATH, and general traders will be pessimistic.

maybe the bull will happen again, but for the near future I don't think there will be a bull. but after seeing this falling market movement, there is a big expectation that the market will grow again, maybe slowly, the market will start again.

I believe that can have some positive effect on btc price, but if that will lead to a new bullrun I really don't think so, the problem is it's not stock market, cryptocurrency market is highly manipulated, it's merely for whales to decide when it's going to move up again and to what price would that be .

of course because from last year until now it has not been able to return capital in the past year, so the hope of many people is that it can immediately run a bull. even though this year until the coming year it seems like those years will be a good year for crypto

Slow growth and people appreciations to adopt the system will create a big link for the bull to show back, mot of us are waiting and still hoping that
things will be good again, the market conditions are opportunities for more new players to catch up, if more people appreciates and start to use and
buy this currency it will be enforced by supply and demands that's where the  bull will be awaken.

Any recovery in the price will be appreciated by everyone but I doubt about what you say, the next bull market will reach prices higher than the last one since bitcoin is in a critical point in its development, the developers are in the process of solving the issues we have with scaling and once they do that the last issue stopping the massive adoption of bitcoin will be removed and when you add that from now on the reward for each block will drop dramatically then the price cannot do anything but to go up in the long term.

well, this is only a predictions,,
so its can be wrong,, but i believe all people here want to see the bull as soon as possible
today, we can see the green on crypto market, hope this is the beginning from the bullish trend on crypto industry

Maybe by this 2nd month of the year we'll see significant recovery and it will happen up to the end of the year *crossing fingers*. It's cool when we see a good pump for the market especially for bitcoin. It is what everyone wants because if bitcoin pumps, all necessary altcoins will also share the pump and will increase its price too.

I wouldn't bet everything on early 2019. We are already almost half in the second month and still BTC is rising up/dropping down (being manipulated) around the price of 3.500$.

If we see another rise as the 2017, it will propably be after the halving, but be a more slowly and steady. So, my bet is on early 2021.

If you study history then the bull will occur in 2021, that's a benchmark for lay people or beginners, I'm also a beginner who thinks like that. So this year is a process to get better and stronger so that next year it can provide a good and bull increase in the following year.

And just like that, Feb has been a good start for us specially in the last 24 hours as the price of majority of coins are picking up and pumping and it's good to see the market somewhat recover and going green again.

However, it's still a long way to go, maybe this is the start of a bull run, maybe not. My point is we should wait, eventually this bear market has to end and it could be in 2019-2020. So everyone should stick and not to be disappointed of this long bearish season.

so far what I'm waiting for is the bull run moment come, I can't ensure the bull coming in May, but bull run speculation will come this year , so we just wait until December this year
