Minor corrections like today  will come and go but the market trend has been slowly turning to bullish for some time. Bitcoin still need to go above major resistance in the $6000s and may do it  in next month or two.
well, this month showed a good increase in the recovery of Bitcoin and altcoin prices. however, at the end of this month, I think the price is back down again. well, however, the price recovery that occurs is not stable. I still expect the bull run to take place this year.

Yes, April started with very good news for everybody. meanwhile, I do not see that the market is going to fall. Yes, some of the cryptocurrencies lose a bit in price, but they recover very fast as well.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Well, this could affect especially on major countries where taxes on crypto earnings are strictly implemented.
I have not earn in 2018 so I don't have to pay taxes, and also in my country the regulation of crypto is still lax but regardless it will not have significant effect on the market as the users are very small.

I hope this May the growth will continue, sure we want to see another big pump next  month.

Once a month is alright, as long as BTC will be stable after the pump.  Grin

In such dump conditions who will begin invest a quite enough sum in crypto? I think it's not possible. Tax is not the main reason to dump or anything else. At 2018 we don't see noticeable growth in May. If tax is so important why this fact did not work a year ago?

i think 2020 would be the start of a new era for bitcoin and will lead the crypto to a futuristic market that will blow the world of finance.

I will gladly accept that if we are meant for that year, but I believe we will not be left out this year, I mean we will surely see some decent recovery
and that will lead to a price increase compared to last year. An increase is price is good for the market, though our expectation will not happen but we still plenty of time to see it fulfilled, we need to see a more stable increase as it's stronger.

very difficult to guess because the increase in bitcoin prices for this year is very different With the previous year, bitcoin is very limited in number of coins but the price does not rise whether in the next three years, I am also waiting for the right moment

Market conditions are always unpredictable, when the price of bitcoin rises by more than $ 1200 in 2 weeks now prices are slowly going to the floor again, I hope the price of bitcoin doesn't drop below $ 5000 so there is still a chance to skyrocket.
It won't, things have changed now. the situation is far better than last year, the bearish confirmed is over. but that does not mean bullish happens. we are still in the stage of going to bullish, at least at the end of 2019 we will start to crawl up and rise

The market was looking increasingly bullish the last few weeks. Recently we have had a bit of a dip, however I suspect this is due in part to the Bitfinex/Tether controversy - and the fact that the dip has only been small and support is holding I would take as another bullish sign.

Hi guys,
The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may.
Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year?
What are you're thoughts

some of my expert friends do not predict that bitcoin will grow high in 2019 2020, but the following year that the increase in bitcoin cannot be prevented anymore. yes that's how it is every time they discuss
and this is confirmed by the latest news that I read, there is a strong possibility that nothing will appear that can strengthen trade or the crypto market to grow as high as in 2017.

We must observe the intensity of the change in the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market and a single project.  This can dismiss the real prospects of the entire market and how relevant it is to invest in certain projects, because there are examples when, despite the poor state of the cryptocurrency market, certain coins still showed very good results.  As an example, you can call such a company as pundi X.

Not only in countries where people pay taxes on crypto. This also concerns all fiat business, companies etc. People must calculate their profit and pay taxes, and after this they will be able to ivnestin crypto their money again...

I think it is very likely that we are at the beginning of a new bull market, most coins are up in dollar, next halving will bring the inflations in bitcoins below the inflations target the central bank's haves.

I also think the next Bitcoin halving can trigger a new bull run in cryptocurrency market. But right now it's hard to tell if it's really gonna happen. So far a halving has always pushed up the price, but somehow I'm a bit sceptical this time, but can't say why. But anyway, I'm still hoping it's really gonna happen.  Wink

How can this provoke another price hike in the cryptocurrency market?  It seems to me that without a certain amount of investment the market will generally freeze in place.  In addition, you really need to start thinking about the state of Bitcoin and its prospects for the future, since it is he who influences the pricing of many cryptocurrencies.

This period as a medicine for all bulls and those who invested in long-term. Over the past six months, this is the only period when the bulls took over. And it is not strange, they are not retreating now.
yes this bull market is not going to last for long when the dip keep coming recently and it is hard to keep the price of cryptos rise higher in these months, perhaps we will be taken a huge dip in upcoming days before the market has a chance to rise back in the end of 2019, i believe it is going to dip very soon but rightnow there are not much signs showing us at this moment but we must always becareful in these months.

Due to the halving, fewer new Bitcoins are produced every day, thereby the quantity of new Bitcoins coming onto the market will be reduced (theoretically). If you compare the prices with the last halvings, you can see that the Bitcoin price has always changed positively due to the halving. So I'm assuming it can happen again this time.
Of course the market has changed over the last few years and nobody can say 100% if it will happen, I don't either, but I still hope so. The possibility, as you say, that the market may freeze without new investors can also be right, but so far new and bigger investors have always joined and since the adaptation of crypto is progressing so far, maybe everything will continue as before.  Smiley

Carefully analyze the situation before making your assessment, there's still some possibilities that bear can pull it back and this temporary rise will be interfere before making it's way up, investment should be properly taking care and analyze, making a wrong move will lead you to trapped or loses if you won't be able to wait.

Yeah, adding to it an investor or trader in crypto will shpuld know it because we cannot control the market, big volumes flow into some altcoins but for those others are still no having a good pump that's really bothering me. 10k above will be  agood sign of bull run to me.

We've gone about a month now without seeing any new price increases. For me the key point is probably BTC around the high $6000s - this is where thee was really solid support in the second half of 2018. If we can push through that and hold at say $7000, I think that will be a definite bull market.

But there are some people in crypto saying that this is all fake bull run and that we are going to see a very drastic drop to 1000$ in 2019 before the real bull run will come and stay

I don't think you should believe it. look at the market looks good, and there is no sign of a decline so far. and I think we are on a bull move that will bring the market up. don't expect there will be big bulls like 2017, this is a different condition.
