the main reason investors leave cryptocurrency because the price of all cryptocurrency is down. so they are afraid that the price of the coins they buy will not reach the price of ico in the near future. if the price of all cryptocurrency rises again, maybe investors will also trust the cryptocurrency again.

In 2018, investing in cryptocurrencies made many people lose money and could not sustain it. Many people chose to leave the market. If the bull market of cryptocurrency comes, I believe that people will definitely return.
They didn't lose anything in first quarter of 2018 but when the time went to q2 and later, cryptocurrency were drowning down to the bottom phase of market as cryptocurrency lost its power for some reasons. If you meant what are the reason for an investor to leave the cryptocurrency space? Well there could be various reasons for that some might be personal or due to the bad bearish market
This one as well, they probably give up due to the bad market. |

many people give up on the current market situation. especially for those who are new to the crypto market, I am sure many of them are surprised at the sudden collapse of the market conditions. but for old people, I think they already know this condition will definitely happen and can happen again at any time. |

Main reason is fraud in ico's and the legal issues in the crypto. also we can not ignore the market condition.
yes it will be back: when the btc again touch ath people will be back & once it is legal all over the world.

 Well I guess Disappointed, or frustration over their loss, who wouldn't be?.. after investing so much of your time and money and waiting too long, expecting for some profit only to find out that you loss it? for some reason that the company you invest with did not meet their target... its hurt.. so painful and traumatic. nonetheless investor is investor, businessman is business they will try and try until they will succeed no matter what

My opinions
1. It's because of market is bearish. The drops of Bitcoin price affects altcoin price. It's a signal for investors that market is not interested anymore, market lose their investors that's why other investors may think not to invest. Also, scam projects are running crypto world, many investor fall to scam, makes them have no money and trust anymore for real project.
2. Yes, of course. There will be a time where investors got a new trust and hopes for a crypto project. I think the time will come when Bitcoin price start increase for a new bullrun.

many investors leave crypto only because of the very severe bearish condition and that really makes all the investors leave crypto. I don't think all investors will have to trust it again |

Exactly, they will have to wait a long time or never let the ICOs they buy can raise prices and make them profitable. And of course no one wants to invest like that, they choose current cheap altcoin and invest in them. They will quickly get profit and not be scammed by those projects |

the lack of investor interest in ICO may be due to a large number of ICO that are scam and with current market conditions making ICO coins not useful when entering an exchange so that the comparison between ICO price and price when ICO coins enter the market is very far because ICO coin prices drop dramatically in exchange . of course things like this make losses for investors so they will think twice about investing in the ICO. I think if the problem can be overcome in the future, then investors will trust the ICO investment again.
