As much as it pains me to agree with cryptohunter, I would also like to know what happened to that thread. It was a real laugh, as I recall.

Bitcoin Talk is getting a bit threadbare. Never mind - the bots seem to enjoy talking to each other. Is this the future for the new forum. I guess drone posters are in keeping with drone deliveries of unchecked groceries.

In case anyone is unsure what the topic at hand is about ("Racism is allowed?"), there is still a google cached version of the first page of posts that can be seen here: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096914.0  (I tried getting other pages to show up, changing the ".0" to ".20" and so on but no luck).

Still, strange that is should have been deleted, as the forum holds other threads on the same topic. Perhaps it span out of hand to some extent.

Edit: found this replt from @mprep back in 2015 on the matter of deleting posts related to racism: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.msg11225713#msg11225713

I thought that nuking would lead to his posts being deleted, not the entire thread if there were replies on them by other forum members (less of all in Meta).  Wasn’t aware that this would be the behaviour for nuked profiles (deleting entire threads started by them).

This is the usual protocol?

1. the op presented observable fact
2 even if he was nuked (for some reason that is not clear) then the entire thread should not have been nuked like this.

That is rather strange because it has a LOT of very interesting observable events there that should have been left for the record.

Is this the usual result if one person in a thread is banned? or is it because he was the OP?

It is only because he was the OP. When anunymint was nuked, all the threads that he was the op were also nuked. However, he also posted in the Wall Observer thread. I believe only his posts were deleted and if I recall correctly and any posts that quoted him were also deleted.

Thanks for information. I see if you are the OP the entire thread goes. That is something I was not aware of. Must archive all posts you need in future. I never seen and entire thread just vanish.

Ok mystery solved.

Any word on why he got banned?

Not certain. Perhaps topics like these had something to do with it...

Off-topic replies have become a big problem. From now on, I will be deleting such replies without notice, forum-wide. If your replies disappear, this is probably why.

All replies must respond to the topic's original post in some way, even if they are replying to an on-topic reply. If your reply has nothing to do with the topic post, either add some content that is relevant or create a new topic.

Please report off-topic posts as soon as you see them.

Where did this thread vanish to? was it moved or just nuked for goodI quote from your thoughts and questions, all the reasons have been said by: @theymos for that your post [The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you].
@cryptohunter. Forums are decentralized applications, you know that.
So I have a little advice from Newbie for @cryptohunter, sorry...!!
Someone can grow vegetables and sell vegetables from their homes as a home restaurant. Consumers can pass the market and
buy fresh vegetables and not be processed from their local plant / meat farmers,
gardeners, fishermen, and so on.

Become a moderator, rely on
on a stack of advanced technology, intelligence, high-speed data, and APP in combination / discussion with forum members to make decentralization and posting in goodness.
All of these problems come back here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=92110

Bitcoin Talk is getting a bit threadbare.

Did you think the treatment of newbies here and the attacks on established trusted members would lead to a different outcome?

exactly the same over and over, abuse should be put to an end  so that there will be different outcomes.
