Ideally, decentralized exchanges are nice especially as it relates to privacy and censorship. But there are currently not very effective and do raise some legitimacu concerns as regard trading stolen tokens .Centralized exchanges do present a single point of failute as they can be hacked or shut down by the government. btce-e.com is an example.some of my funds are still trapped there

The disadvantages of decentralized exchange does pays off with the privacy and money safety we get.
It is always better to get rather slow and clunky exchanges but our money is safe than rocket fast exchange but has the risk of losing money

Nice write up. Let me air my view on this topic. I appreciate the ideology behind decentralized exchanges but the fact remains that the ones operational are not up to standard when compared to top centralized exchanges. Liquidity is always a setback in decentralized exchanges, user interface and speed of operation too. Usually the trading volumes on DEX are crappie, because many people do not really buy the idea of importing private keys or mnemonic and few use web3 extensions like metamask or hardware wallets. Looking forward to a day when DEX will be top notch. Well, I appreciate the development and trading volumes so far on IDEX.

TOKENSALE FETCH.AI LASTED 22 SECONDS AND COLLECTED $ 6 MILLION

According to the post of head of the Binance CZ on Twitter, only 2,758 users from 19,860 were able to buy new tokens. The cost of the FET token was about $ 0.08. The cryptocurrency community quite strongly criticized the Binance cryptocurrency exchange for such a fast crowdsale, in which the overwhelming number of applicants could not take part. Users assumed that among users who bought tokens were only bots, the Fetch.AI team, as well as the Binance management.

When there is something like legit decentralized exchange it needs to be considered as best but currently not any DEXs can we say it is best compared to CEX so we can use centralized exchange when they got trusted by lot of people. But for storing purpose no exchange is better only the wallets with private keys needs to be used.

Now there are hybrid exchanges. I think the future belongs to them. For example, at the development stage, the qurrex project.
hybrid exchanges this means combining two systems, namely the Decentralized system and a centralized cryptocurrency exchange system.
I don't know much about projects like this. I believe that this will be an excellent new breakthrough for the future of crypto exchange in the world.

What are the next campaigns of Binance DEX?

Today CZ promised to announce the next campaign on the Binance Launchpad. He also said that at the current stage, the platform plans to conduct 1-2 campaigns per month, but does not have a clear schedule, instead of attracting interesting projects as they are discovered.

According to CZ, his company-issued BNB token currently has a higher practical value than most existing digital assets. Binance intends to continue to expand the list of partners that allow the use of BNB in their services.

In addition, BNB will become the Binance Chain blockchain's own token and the Binance DEX exchange. CZ said that eight relatively large projects had already agreed to transfer their tokens from Ethereum to Binance Chain in order to take advantage of the new blockchain, but did not clarify their names.

The rate of BNB increased by 15%.

Support for decentralization today is undoubtedly one of the most correct positions of our community, because decentralization today must be implemented everywhere. This is our future. That it will be ahead.

DEX Ethinex migrates to the new version of the platform

The decentralized version of the Bitfinex exchange moves to a new version of the 0x protocol, traders will be able to deal there from March 13th. Before this all current pending orders at the Etfinex exchange will have to be closed, the transfer will not affect deposits, as they are always in the clients' wallets.

Changes to the new protocol will make it possible to secure clients more with the help of additional signatures functionality, expand the number of different types of orders, improve visualization when working through MetaMask.

Support for decentralization today is undoubtedly one of the most correct positions of our community, because decentralization today must be implemented everywhere. This is our future. That it will be ahead.

As an experienced trader i prefer to trade on a decentralized exchange often than to trade on centralized typed, reasons be that my privacy is more worth to me than the profits claimed to be make on a centralized exchange. Freedom, transparency and anonymity is my first priority when choosing an exchange to trade in, "if not decentralize it wouldn't be centralized".

I began to notice that this question began to concern people more and more and it is very cool that more and more people are beginning to ask this question. Most importantly, we don’t need to forget that we are here for decentralization.

I think that crypto currencies are better when in a decentralized system. When this crypto currency is systemized centrally, it is no different from a fiat currency. I prefer if this crypto currency is in a decentralized system so that I can control my own coins. Therefore, it is natural that the government hates decentralization because the government cannot provide overall control of the crypto currency. Decentralization remains a good choice for crypto currencies and hopefully there are no problems with this decentralized system.

Centralized exchanges have a very strange feature to communicate with each other and regulate prices in the market. I think that many people already understand this process and many understand that the exchange is only for the regulation of prices on the cryptocurrency exchange.

centralized exchanges should not be trusted. it is important to understand that they do absolutely everything for their own purposes but not for users
