Did anyone;s Radeon VII die already? I have a Powercolor with Hynix HBM2 which just died (drivers always crashes in Windows, and would not run any OpenCL job in Linux).

Yes 6 out of 9.
Mine also died yesterday. It is from XFX. Anyone has experience doing waranty with them?
Did you try the store from where you bought it?

RMA, past the return period.
Did manufacturer send you a new GPU or send you 5700?

I heard that they stopped producing new RadeonVII. Surprised to see that they are able to give new GPU for the RMA

Great, if it's stable.
Which waterblock is it?

It was stable for the 5 minutes I ran the miner to get the screenshot. :-)
I used EK's waterblock.

2 more died yesterday, 1x Powercolor and 1x XFX.

I wonder if AMD has used Junk Vega silicon in these cards.

My Sapphire Radeon VII refused to post 2 months ago. Could not get another GPU for replacement. Used my store credit for a Ryzen 3900x and X570 MB instead.  Grin

There's a sale going on for XFX Radeon VII at Newegg @ 569.00 a pop.
Wonder if it's because of the higher than normal defect rates.

Anyone with noisy fans? I had to service the fans on my MSI Radeon VII since the bearings dried out.

My Radeon VII in my daily personal desktop is going strong.  The 16 GB of Vram is extremely useful for me in heavily modded games (where every other GPU chokes and ruins performance) and of course it's one of the few semi-profitable GPUs left for mining.

Hey, anyone still using these GPUs, what's your results and settings?

Edit:
For those who still using these GPUs, I'm currently using the following settings:-
Miner : NiceHash
950 : mV
+0 : Power Limit
Core Clock : 1750
Memory Clock : 1100
Fan Speed : 100%

Result = 87 Mh/s to 90.3 Mh/s each GPU
Earnings = £1.04 to £1.09 each GPU

On NiceHash Profitability shows 100 Mh/s for £1.10

Your best to use the above settings to achieve the best result also spend less on electricity.

I hope this helps.

Apparently it seems we can't mix the Radeon Vii with other Radeons like the 580?

Claymore dual only detects the 580.
At least on linux/ubuntu.

Anyone else got this issue?
