Want some cold water on that? It all depends on how many votes these users have and how many other users they trust and how those votes will get distributed. But seeing that you only need 2 votes from 250s and you have 9 of them... meaning 7 of them have tons of 10-merit votes for you so your chances are good. Not guaranteed but looking really good.

     Interesting that you mention cold water since our water heater is out today.   Thank goodness that I am a renter, so I don't need to pay for it. Just trying to prod the landlord to take action is the only concern.
     Since we are still more than two weeks out until theymos takes another tally, we will see what my status is then. I'm really on the cusp. You never know. Perhaps cryptohunter and Techshares can spark a revolution. Or maybe I'll piss off one of the 10 people.

You're meeting the minimum requirements for DT1. The only unknown is the limited number of "votes", so it depends on who else is on the trust lists of people who include you. With nine 250+ users you should be in good shape but the vote distribution logic is a bit of a mystery to me so don't blame me if I gave you false hope.

BTW you're in DT already, DT2 that is.

Probably. You will need to maintain the following thresholds.
10 votes from people with 10+ merits. You have 15. However, votes only go to the people who most need it. If the person has more than 1 person per 10 merit on their custom trust list.
2 votes from people with 250+ merits. You have 9. However, votes only go to the people who most need it. If the person has more than 1 person per 250 merit on their custom trust list.
If you make it to the DT1 list. Then the number of other DT1 members who have you on the trust list must exceed or be equal to the number that distrust you. If more distrust you, then you are not DT1, until that changes.
Oh, and by the way. For someone to be able to vote for you on the 10 merit or 250 merit level, any merit that you gave to that person doesn't count. So if someone has you on the trust list with 12 merits and you gave them 3, their vote cannot go to you for the 10 merit level. Or if someone has 262 merits and you gave them 13, their vote cannot go to you for the 250 merit level.

Just so you know, you are already on DT2 because Bill gator has you on his trust list and he is DT1.

I think the oldest account comes first when users have the same number of inclusions at 250+ Merit.

So if someone has you on the trust list with 12 merits and you gave them 3, their vote cannot go to you for the 10 merit level.

I should still adjust the numbers for that.

You should sort by 10s when 250s are equal, that way you'll get back to the top since you have more 10s.

I wasn't serious, the current ranking is good enough.

I've added DT1-tags to users who are currently on DT1. This also shows users who are close to dropping out of DT1. Example:

Seriously though, the "not including merit you yourself sent" rule - or rather you ignoring it - is skewing things a lot, at least for me.

I've now implemented this. It is once again a complete coincidence that I end up on top again

The list is 4 names longer than last week. The number of inclusions by 250+ Merit users goes up, as a few users crossed the 250 Merit line. That earned theymos a second place, chances are he'll kick me down next week.

You should post this somewhere in Meta, for instance Community generated suggestions to improve the forum (+ eventual voting on them).
But I don't think theymos will add it, he wants users to set their custom trust list. Forcing DT-view on them does the opposite.
