Definitely whales can really pump the price but there's some form of news, to be the catalyst. And obviously, investors are so high on the news that a ETF approval is on the horizon. But we have to wait and see how everything will settle down in the next 48 hours. I'm still not sold on this bull run, or even we can call this a bull already. The market just reacts to the news so no need to jump and gets excited.

We are not having a bull run n the market. This is a price spurt in account of fluctuations in the value of bitcoin, which tends to affect all other digiatal currencies.

Good advice people are so excited because we have not seen this for a long while 4 consecutive days of bull run with an increase of 7% but I still doubt on this, you are right we should control our emotion it's to early to tell, and there's not much good news in the crypto world for this to happen.

The bitcoins price starts with less than $5 for what I've known and now look at its price 2 years ago it reached its peak which is nearly $20000 (Am i right?) and the next year after that it drops for about $5000 and i think now it's starting to rise again.

All i can say is that we are still on the bullish run and all the things we're experiencing are just a small ups and downs.

The market is now starting to recover. This data is a proof that the bear market is now over. Maybe this time is now the start of the bull run that everybody talking about. I'm glad that there is now progress in the price of the bitcoin even its price is only increased 8%.

What you say is true. This is probable a new bullish run. What happened yesterday and today is a bullish reversal of Bitcoin market.  I was not wating for this bullish reveral to happen today, but there is 80% probability that this is the start of a new bull run in the price of the Bitcoin. We have to wait for 3 - 8 months to be certain that the market will become truly bullish.

This is very good news. I am waiting to read that the bitcoin price is bigger than 4500 dollars.

There tends to be symmetry in the crypto market.  When we go throug ha bull for an extended amount of time the bear time period seems to reflect that in an opposite matter.

Newbies will never learn, they don't want to buy while prices are bleeding red.  They only buy during Fomo when its usually already too late.

Chinese new year is over, and i suppose price should start climbing until the halving next year. At what pace or speed, I don't know... This could be a little pump that goes back down again, but in the long run we shouldn't be expecting to go much lower either. In fact it stayed nicely above 3k, that was good.

Well this also means that whales are controlling this market effectively and they can anytime pump or dump in the market. Whenever there is a big dump or pump in the market it is because of the manipulation. Consider the fact that many people were shortening the bitcoins on bitmex and this opposite move by the whales made liquidated many traders.

According to my understanding if some one is going to invest a big amount of money on bitcoin or Ethereum by considering this price grow it is not a good idea because the current price increase is not that significant enough to consider this as a major bull run and I doubt this will continue for a longer period of time but still this is evidence that the price can increase in the market and also bitcoin, ethereum and many other altcoins can recover in the future

There are certainly whales in both bitcoin and Ethereum markets who are manipulative all the time and because both markets are high in liquidity there is a possibility this is situation that was occur due to a market manipulation but if it is not certainly the current price increase is a good start for this year to give moral and confidence to new investors and traders to make more investments and this will definitely do good to the market

I stopped believing n these predictions but if your friends really know how to give predictions and we are on a $4000 hike and it happens then that's a good prediction because so many predictions have failed in the last three months I will going to wait and see any way I am more of a holder than trader.

There is nothing most beautiful than seeing the market pass to green when in the morning, yeah that's what I felt. However, to convince that this ascend is the beginning of a bull run then with heavy words must be spoken, this is not included in the category of bull run signs. Just a manipulation from some whales who will soon sell their coins and make prices decline again.

Someone must be familiar when he sees a sudden increase in prices, then you have to find out about the factors that cause the increase, at least looking for information related to cryptocurrency, then after that you can judge it. Remember, the cryptocurrency price movements are very fast, so as if you misjudge, you must be prepared to face losses.

This isn't a bull run in any way but rather just a short pump with no real strength to hold on. The volumes on exchanges are ridiculously low to perform a higher push on where it's at right now, so I don't think it can continue to go further or traders will ride whatever's happening on the market. Also, there aren't any news or any catalyst for this increase, so I'm afraid that it wouldn't be lasting long or will be shut down by the bears any time sooner

In about a week it will be clear what was all that about and whether it was about anything at all. Actually, I don't think it is about Bitcoin in the first place. If you were following the prices closely, you would know that this so-called bullrun had started with Litecoin being pumped (and it is still pumped, by the way). And I agree with you that the volumes don't look astonishing, apart from Litecoin, which is evidently receiving a lot of attention from market makers recently

I wouldn't call it a bull run, not yet. The short burst of the price is probably for the words of SEC commissioner being spread that proposed bitcoin ETF will eventually get approved. The news might have sparked a new hype for which people are jumping in with the intention of making some quick profit. Remember, its just a leaked comment and he never mentioned that it will be accepted. Once the hype falls, we might see the price falling back again unless we get a strong support line.
