I really love seeing some thread that tackles positivity than the negative effect of crypto specially in countries from the continent of africa in which experiencing poverty but yet come to join the cryptocurrency fever.

It's because crypto is sound money for them, and it will be a big help for them to alleviate their standard of living through the help of crypto, I reckon.

sometimes i am asking why countries like them are more involved than the bigger ones.they are more supportive than my own country though we have no strict regulations regarding crypto

Bigger nations will lost a lot if their population will be totally in crypto, just like China says. They think it will disrupt their stable economy. On the other hand, developing nation has nothing to lose and it's a win-win situation for them, that's why it's easy for their government to turn pro-crypto.

Africa is a continent that is full of corruption and dictatorship regimes, African politicians only pass laws that benefit their corruption and dictatorship, something like bitcoin that is decentralized can only survive in a small number of African countries. And note that the maim impediment of people using bitcoin will not be the lack of internet or lack of electricity or lack of computers or lack smartphones... it will be because of corrupt politicians

Any African out there willing to connect with others, you can join the fit-to-talk project started by Jet Cash, it has a board dedicated to Africans.

It seems to me that you took advantage of the opportunity to promote this forum " fittotalk.com "

True, governments in Africa are somewhat corrupt, not all but some government officials are for sure corrupt, but what I liked with their decision is that almost all countries in Africa has Bitcoin approved, it could be a big help for the citizens, and hopefully it could lessen the poverty.

The member Jet Cash idea to give a dedicated forum for Africans is a great idea because unlike any other countries Africans were open minded regarding Bitcoin and the crypto world because they know that to change there current situation they have to cope with latest and modern technology and Blockchain technology and bitcoin as a currency will be a great solution to that because it can provide the best possible systems to reduce the cost during transactions and improve there businesses effectively

In Nigeria, I am yet to see any shop accepting Bitcoin for payment. One has to exchange bitcoin first into fiat before any payment for goods and services.

This is truth, I think the issue is partly because of the lack of support from the apex bank governor Godwin Emefiele. He has been very critical of the bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies, instead of educating the public about what it's all about, he keeps saying it's a form of gambling. I believe he is been bribed by bank owners in other to keep customers under check.
Yeah I understand that, the spread of bitcoin will also depend on your technological and economic development too. in Asian countries there are still many countries that have not been touched by blockchain technology, especially Africa which is still very lagging behind, no offense

The member Jet Cash idea to give a dedicated forum for Africans

Woah really ? Thats nice .  i see that africa is left behind on the latest trends especially on cryptocurrency  but if we will educate them and sponsor them some items that they can use to access and operate cryptos, im pretty sure that their country can also add to the growing adoption of cryptos  .

True, governments in Africa are somewhat corrupt, not all but some government officials are for sure corrupt, but what I liked with their decision is that

Oh i see  . this can be also the reason on why africa is so poor .

almost all countries in Africa has Bitcoin approved, it could be a big help for the citizens, and hopefully it could lessen the poverty.

I guess thats not true . i see alot of users here , saying that africa is not supporting cryptos  .

i think all of bitcoin user more than 80% use bitocin for trading and investment program, because many people know bitcoin and bitcoin popular because of investment media and the trading media. so we all here hope that in the future we can sue bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as the daily currency that we can use to pay anything in our life`
in my opinion it's like bitcoin traveling around the world especially the African continent and it's amazing for me and I'm proud if the African population knows Bitcoin and uses bitcoin legally

Currently in Africa the use of Bitcoin is very low, but the continent is full of potentials for cryptocurrency trading, at list for Her population, and this region is highly fragmented structured with various currencies, hus it is a fertile ground for bitcoin investors.

In Africa generally, there are many who purchase Bitcoin only just to use it for online means for payment of  purchases and services. But they can not use it for payment of goods and services offline.
The few things that contributed to this are: some Africa governments restricted the use of Bitcoin kn their country and also technology in Africa is still in the developing stage. Not everyone knows about this coin there but some good amount of youths.

I think the most usage of bitcoin is for trading, include in Africa. No wonder if bitcoin volume is big in coinmarketcap.
And peoples are using it as payment instrument too, mainly from underground world i guess.
So, no matter how bitcoin used anywhere, it is good to hear that many peoples still using bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

your guesses here have no value specially since you are making random wrong guesses. it is obvious that one of the biggest usages of bitcoin because of its volatility is for trading and investment but that doesn't mean the usage of bitcoin as a currency is small or limited to illegal activities.
in fact Africans are using bitcoin as a means of payment more than anybody else in any other country. there are people who have been mining bitcoin and using it to buy food and have it delivered to their country for over a year now.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Its a good sign. But it is Africa and we know it is not yet that continent with high technology.
Despite that, if they are using it in high amounts then we might be in a good year.

If only this can be done to more known countries with great technology then be shared to another country then it will be an easy walk for bitcoin to be used regularly.
But look at us now, we are still having problems without fiat on our side or credit cards.

Nice to know that Africa is involved. While Europe and USA are busy with political matters Africa is gaining power which is great. I foresee some really good projects there.

Did the uses of bitcoin increases in Africa? Probably, the usage may have increased in some other African countries like South Africa and the rest but in Nigeria, i will say no, reason been that majority of Nigerians knows about bitcoin (Majority= a large number of people) during the era of ponzi scheme called MMM, If you are from that part of the world you will definitely know what i mean by MMM. Its a ponzi scheme that make many Nigerians to be dealing and owning bitcoin incliding me. Bitcoin could have been porpular than its or even popular than our Naira it self if not for the bad reputation of MMM, in fact government need to start warning people to stop trading with bitcoin after MMM collapsed and many Nigerians lost millions of dollars to the fraudulent scheme. I lost a lots of my investments too. Many Nigerians like me who still do have anything to do with bitcoin are doing it because of our own research and efforts done in findings that Proof  that bitcoin is not a scam like our government used to make it look like. Though, you can be scarmed which is not limited to bitcoin alone, as scammer are everywhere in every bussiness.

Bitcoin has good future in south Africa, even the price of bitcoin is rise against rand south africa. Now it's about 52,000 rand per 1 btc . People there really like to trading bitcoin, there are many exchanges site that ease african people to trading, exchange such as abra, etoro and coinmama and etc was ease people there to buy bitcoin via credit card or bank transfer. So its make the adoption grow faster. I hope people there more often to use bitcoin at online shop rather than use it for trading.

The truth is that the African government are not interfering with citizens who deals in cryptocurrencies particularly bitcoin in Nigeria the Central bank advice its citizens to stay aware from cryptos however the anonymous transaction and usage of bitcoin makes it easier for people in African to adopt particularly to buy at low and sell at high accruing some profits then exchange to fiat using some notable exchangers even though its on record that no business organisation, stores etc had started accepting cryptos.
