The dark web is known for illegal activities and full with men and women who never want they identity known due to the criminal activities and at that they will always look out for a currency that will not reveals the identity of those behind the transaction and bitcoin since decentralised is the first choice of they mode of carrying out this transactions cause all the other coin are a little bit centralized and trackable.

Bitcoin has been accepted there for years and is still on going. I don't find it odd because these transactions are illegal and don't want to expose their info so the best payment option for them is through crypto and bitcoin was their main crypto there.

So im literally a curioused person which wanted to have more informations about Deep Web and its wierd and creepy videos and stuffs. So I recently streaming youtube for a couple of hours, so basic compared to what deep web has, but after about 10 videos,i found this gem.

So theres this youtuber who wants to access deep web, just a curious guy like me. Then after a boring introduction, he finally opens the site. So to make the story short. He finds all illegal stuffs like hacking, buying other peoples account including paypal and even bank accounts perhaps, steps on how to do illegal things and a bunch of drug dealers all for suprisingly low price. Whats surprising is this.

WTF. I really stumbled that even the dark webs and illegal organizations only accepts BTC because of its anonimity.

It has been very well known that most bitcoin payment transactions is running on the dark web.
The bitcoin usage as a payment in the surface world is still far from dark world. And bitcoin is not fully anonymous actually.
Except you use some mixer to become anonymous using your bitcoin.

I have only visited the Deep Web one time and it was to purchase a licensing software not available in my country for a reasonable price.

The problem is that they were too afraid to buy in their local store since they really don't have a trusted seller yet that's why they have to go find it online. Other than that is the availability of most drugs i guess, i think there is a drug where you can't buy in your local area. And i guess this is where the smuggled drugs begin in most seaports in every country.

I am surprised that they are trading in bitcoin, most of them are done using monero and for faster payments litecoin is accepted too. They must be patient buyers waiting ages for transaction confirmations

The use of Bitcoin on Dark Web has bought it bad reputation that is used for illegal activities. But we mustn't forget that fiat money could also be used for illegal stuff and the reason why Bitcoin was chosen for deep web as a payment method was anonimity. But with time Bitcoin has lost a part of anonimity and then Monero came to the deep web scene.
I don't think that depp web could give any advantage to Bitcoin or affect the price in positive sense, so far it has made to it more harm than good things.

I call bullshit on this. Please post the URL to these sites as proof that you actually visited those sites.   You do not just fire up a Tor browser and links pop up with illegal content, you have to search for that content and if you really looked deeper, then you would have noticed that most sites with illegal content accept the privacy focused coins like Monero and Dash.  

Bitcoin can be your worst enemy, if you use it incorrectly and even if you use Tor, you are still not 100% sure that Tor exit nodes are not compromised by law enforcement agencies.

Well, of course, as you said Bitcoin is fully anonymous and that's why most of the illegal market uses it or some other cryptocurrencies. Besides anonymity, Bitcoin is also a faster way for transfering money so it fully suits criminals to use it. Of course, Bitcoin is not to blame for it being used in that way and it isn't designed for that but it got accepted on deep web and it is used there like it we or not.

Nothing surprising, this is common with the darkweb. Bitcoin being anonymous it has paved path for the increased usage of bitcoin into darkweb. Earlier bitcoin was termed as the source for darkweb, later this changed little by little when bitcoin got its spreading worldwide same as that of the traditional fiat. Deep web isn't that easy to access, it needs specific platforms through which we can access deep web. On the other hand bitcoin being transparent makes it get used on darkweb while the end users unknown giving security.

Nothing much to be surprised about it. The idea that they can hide their identity by being anonymous. And since the transaction happens between individuals and no intermediaries needed, it most likely to happen. It's a win-win situation for them. Since bitcoin was made that way, they're abusing it for illegal transactions and for their own benefits.

Knife exist for a cutting something and intention is important for using it.If someone has intention to finance criminal activity,terrorism then it doesn't matter which payment options are considered by their supporters. Way back to 2016 Russian government announced news about restrictions for cryptocurrencies and they blamed anonymity of bitcoin which is best for secret payments for illegal activities.

So you mean dark-web didn't exist before bitcoin? It did and people always have a way out to be anonymous and untraceable. Bitcoin just made it easier. It's true you can buy shit loads of illegal stuff with bitcoin but you still would if there was no bitcoin.
