I don't really think that $500 is that difficult for etherum to reach. Wait for few months rathar than a year and you will see $500+ price for etherum. Bear markets are about to over and the bull run will approach soon so sticking with the markets to find a perfect investment coin for us is better always. Etherum has some good platforms which keeps high demand for etherum and peoples will soon get big shares into etherum as the markets will start to rise up.

if etf get approved we will see a bullish btc movement and altcoin temporary dump but as eth going to have new protocol activated this year so we can expect a rise in price but it all demand on market manipulation if we see another crypto rally then i can predict eth to 300-400$ but if there is no significant rally than 160-230$ i am predicting later this year ,it all demand on manipulation.

Though your observation is very good, this year the crypto market cap for Ethereum, EOS is increasing incredibly. Therefore ETH hard fork is a big matter to catch more investors for ETH, but still, I want to play safe! I don't think ETH can overcome 1000 USD in this year, but 500 USD is a good prediction.

That would greatly make people satisfied on holding if price will reach $1k.
The recent change of price change may be a signal that things will completely change and that bull has wake up already.
BTC will cross the line and reached $4K soon and this will also lead to another hype in the market.
Maybe people have already realize that it's time to change the market as they have already accumulated a lot during the dip.

I think the SEC will return to delay its decision, it seems that there is still a lot to be learned about crypto.

That number seems difficult at the moment, in the best case scenario I see ethereum reaching a price of 250 to 300 dollars which is very far away from your prediction but such a number will be great for ethereum because it will allow it to put a healthy distance between ripple and itself and will bring back the confidence of the market to ethereum since it has been one of the coins that has suffered the most with the bear market and the lost confidence of investors in icos.
