Everything is connected to Bitcoin. If Bitcoin surprise us with rates over 10,000 USD, then Ethereum will get to 500 USD or more. If Bitcoin continue to gravity around 3000-5000 USD, then I don't thing there is a chance Ether to near close to 500 USD. I think people are overrating the ETF hype.

I think it will depend on two things. That's what you wrote, so ETF approval and successful Ethereum hardfork. If both events will be positive, I am sure that at the end of the year the price of ETH will be at least $500.

It's quite possible, it all really depends on ETF, but 500 $ is not so high and unreal goal, 2019 won't be definitely huge bomb in crypto, but some growth we will see.

I don't see the price of Ethereum at $500 unless BTC reached a figure like $6k and above this year, the whole market is BTC dependent and as long as the trade of Ethereum is against BTC it will continue to dictate its price also remember that the ICO party seems over and BNB tokens is entering into the ICO game which will surely have impact on the growth of Ethereum

It's quite possible, it all really depends on ETF, but 500 $ is not so high and unreal goal, 2019 won't be definitely huge bomb in crypto, but some growth we will see. 

why are you so sure no one has risen high this year , now all coins are green and in my opinion this is one sign that the bull run will come, so it's better to see the reality that is happening

Ethereum reaches $ 500 for this year, I think it's very difficult. But everything can happen because we see that throughout 2018 prices continue to decline. And I am sure that by 2019 this will definitely be reversed, so the Crypto market will continue to increase.

Good news could help ethereum meet the good demands in the long run, and as the community became more popular it's always possible that the value will increase in the future. Don't rush everything because we need patience in order to achieve a good results, and that $500 can be meet.

yes of course ethereum will definitely be able to reach that price again if hardfork ethereum can achieve success, maybe it can reach the price you say, but if the second ETF is approved it can bring positive news. because by agreeing to the second ETF in the presence of sure positive news all coins will get a significant pump not just ethereum.

I'm bullish on ethereum but I don't want speculate these days. If you'll ask me if it's going to reach $500 by this year, I don't know but if you'll ask me if I want to see ethereum go $500 by this year, of course!

We are still not sure on how much the effect of ETF that will be created to the crypto market once it is approved. It's not only bitcoin that will have that positive effect but also including Ethereum and some other notable coins.

I think it will depend on two things. That's what you wrote, so ETF approval and successful Ethereum hardfork. If both events will be positive, I am sure that at the end of the year the price of ETH will be at least $500.

That's true  it will happen the move up of price if the ETF approved and if the eth hard fork will be successful. But who knows we are still the starting the year so many things will be happen so let see.

It will, ETF has become the main problem why bitcoin gets a big dump in the past and when it get approve by the US regulators and there will be another FOMO to the crypto and i just try to prepare m,y self for that dude. It looks so easy for ether when there is a big bullish trend.

Not gonna happen, mate, you must have to expect Bitcoin first to grow so then Ethereum will follow as to what you have expected. Everything is connected to the Bitcoin market once the market is able and continue to grow you will see a slight grow on it and to the other altcoins as well. I wouldn't expect about the ETF or bakkt either because i don't think they could make a change in the market.

Why you have so big hopes for ETFs while some biggest things must happens in this year? I think launch of Fidelity and Bakkt platform much more important, because big institutional investors will come with huge money in crypto market.

I think ETH will hit more than 500 USD. I have an option to believe it. I think after Constantinople hard fork Eth network will be very fast and upgraded and then we can see a different, better Ethereum network. And then the ETH market can be boosted too. So, It is not impossible for ETH to cross 500 USD. Let's hope for the best.

I have no hope about the SEC approving ETF! And I don't think ETH can make 500 USD this year. Because, the market chart says a bearish market will come again, and BTC price would be 2400-2800 USD! I mean, 2019 will be another bear year for the crypto market. I think ETH price will overcome 500 USD to hit 700-800 USD in mid of 2020!

I am optimistic that it will be possible for ethereum prices to occur this year because growth will definitely come soon, especially if the ethereum project being developed by his team can achieve success this year. I think the price of $ 500 is not too big and ethereum never passed that price.
