Since I came on this forum, I have tried to read and understand the top 10 tokens on coinmarketcap
But today I want to talk about ripple

I have believed ripple to be a banks token, and they have couple of agreements with banks too
Making good progress.

But with JPMorgan creating a stable coin to be used internally for banking purposes and faster transactions; what happens to ripple ?

Anyone can enlighten me further the consequences of banks creating their own Blockchain, ignoring ripple??

in my opinion if there is an agreement with the bank it will be more advanced in the development of ripple. this development that we must support and be a positive development and create ripple stability.

As of now, ripple is doing good with some banks testing the ripple platform for some time. The potential of ripple platform in banking syatem is very high. Now, with the news that banks are preparing to create their own platform, it is a possibility but it is not a reality until it has been created.

I don't believe Ripple will dominate the payments market in the future.... but I also don't believe it is the end for Ripple either. The whole crypto industry is still nascent and there are more people yet to discover it.

I don't think it will end for ripple. Because of the change in the crypto market is very fast. Today you see the Ripple becomes low but tomorrow will be different. So in my opinion. whatever reason Ripple is still an attractive currency for investors in long-term. It's just behind Bitcoin and it can take second place from ETH.

Does anyone else think it's interesting that Chris Larsen of Ripple invested quite a bit in this project called Elixxir? https://elixxir.io/

Ripple, though not so much of a good project to me, has gained enough grounds so much so that, I don't think it will die irrespective of what may happen. This might not be in fafavour of ripple but I think the team will find their way out

There have been several developments around Ripple. Distributed ledger technology is expanding all over the world. Ripple has recently signed up Euro Exim Bank, based out in London, to use Ripple's  xRapid service. The CEO of  Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, seems very enthusiastic about future developments in the financial industry as he had predicted the same that most of the financial institutions will be using xRapid for liquidity advantages. Ripple has a financial and banking network that reaches now more than 150 clients all over the world which have also increased the trust of customers in financial institutions that now can process cross-border payments in a faster, more secure and easier way. So I dont think there is an end to ripple

I don't think ripple is closing it's ending, In my personal opinion, for all cryptocurrency, as long as they still has their value and then that means there is no way a coins closing to an end.

Honestly, we cannot tell at this point of time, Ripple has built their reputation and network over the years, and besides the guy that will create a coin to challenge Ripple do not have a good reputation in the community, I am not a Ripple supporter but if I picked between the two I still go for Ripple.

Even if I don't want to invest on this coin I still believe that it will not end because XRP is a good coin that is being used by the banks and they continue to soar high though I'm not sure if its just a manipulated pump or a real great one. Yes, XRP placed on top 2 spot for many times and if they continue to develop, brighter future is possible.

Ripple is still holding up pretty well and in terms of market cap there is only $2 billion difference with the 2nd ranked crypto (ETH). But there is no doubt that it is a very shady currency. It has achieved a relatively large market cap by keeping most of the tokens out of free-float.

That's still a question whether how long this coin will continue to lean with the banks and used for centralize process, there's no doubt that it's still moving and not yet being dumped that hard, but who knows id how long ripple will be supported and used that way, I remember reading a thread here about the possibilities of JPM coin to take over but not clear if that's legit or another speculation.

I support people who do not think so. I think that all this will definitely be just the opposite, showing good dynamics only in cases where XRP will have growth on the contrary. After all, we constantly observe such a picture.

One thing I have noticed about XRP is that the number of users is much lower than that of other cryptos, such as Ethereum and Litecoin. That means that the amount of coins per user is high with XRP. And IMO, it is not a good sign for the future of the coin.

Unfortunately this coin has huge potential to become number one banking instrument related to crypto currencies. I do not want to have a centralised asset on the crypto market and hope they will go to the stock market one day.

the ripple will be alright, calm down, this is not the end of ripple. We will see him fight and come back into the market when the market is going to grow again. We've seen if ripple is an asset that has a pretty good growth on the market some time ago.

Something to me that inner feeling tells me that ripple is not even ready to die. This is his strategy, he makes himself so popular.
