On my way home from work today I heard an ad on the radio for a betting site! Minors can't gamble! When I got home, I immediately called the government to complain, and request that all radio broadcasts be immediately banned. Then I turned on my TV and saw an advert for Bud Light! Minors can't drink! I phoned the government back to request all TV broadcasts be banned. I quickly checked Facebook and saw an advert for a BMW! Minors can't drive! I called the government. I decided to read the newspaper instead, and saw adverts for a local wedding shop, estate agent, and tattoo parlor! Minors can't get married, buy property, or get a tattoo! Tried phoning the government again, but turns out they've blocked my number. I've emailed them instead.

Then I come on bitcointalk and see this! Scandal!

AFAIK they are perfectly legal under my jurisdiction, which is Mars. Try again.

I doubt europe would agree with that

You have no problem to promote hazard to underaged people ?

Advertising 18+ content on a public forum isn't illegal. The advertised casino's clearly state on their landing page that all users have to be 18+. Stop pretending to be a moralist.

Lauda is under EU regulations so it is ilegal for him.
In the US its also being hunted.
Did you miss the crack down ?

Quote

You are generalising which shows already you have no clue if you put diffrent jurisdictions and niches into one pot.But you are allowed to proof me wrong about advertising gambling websites which have no license with facts

Seeing your signature i understand why you defend it with nonsense

==================================================================================================

Quote from:
"We strongly support measures to clamp down on irresponsible gambling advertising in order to protect consumers – but a total ban on advertising is counterproductive to this. The Government should instead focus on encouraging responsible gambling advertising which sufficiently directs consumers to the regulated operators and at the same time does not entice problem gamblers or young people to gamble.

Maarten Haijer, Secretary General, European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA)

This was a response to Italy's "crackdown" on illegal lotteries and illegal gambling. It clearly states that the European Gambling and Betting Association is not against online advertising. Your problem is about promoting gambling to minors (technically your problem is with Lauda and you're just looking for excuses to create more bullshit topics). None of the forum advertisement/signatures I've seen so far are explicitely enticing minors at all. When signing up on FortuneJack they clearly state that you have to be 18+:

In their T&C they also clearly state that underage gambling is illegal:

Quote
Note that underage gambling is a criminal offense.

All other registered and regulated online casino's will have similar warnings. Feel free to report any casino that doesn't warn underage gamblers (or are enticing them to gamble on their platform).

And to the last reply.

You both change facts.

You claim promoting legal casions which are under governmental control and which is being monitored 24h and needs to pass standards is the same like advertising non legal websites which don't need to pass any standards.

Promoting gambling websites which have no licenses is ilegal POINT.

You can post as much as you want showing products which have a legal license and which have to uphold local laws and standards is not the same as a casino with no license without upholding any standards and without being monitored and checked by governmental organisations.

Its like saying buying baby milk is allowed in the US so is it allowed to sell poisened baby milk from china.
baby milk needs to pass also sanitarian controls before being allowed to be sold. And chinese poisened milk would never hit the domestic market.

At least open your eyes when you read.
They demand to not ban all advertisement but only on gambling websites which have no license.
So you just proofed what i claim

FortuneJack has a license so I fail to see the issue here.. Feel free to report them if you believe they are illegally running a casino.

As for this topic, it would be great if you could stop making unfounded allegations against forum members. Thanks!

Not sure why you want to show off how your trust list affects their profile.

I can easily adjust my trust settings to show any user as severely negative. In fact, if a user isn't negative enough in one's perspective, it's simple enough to create alt accounts to flame them with negative feedback and add them to one's trust list. Not that this has any real effect if the feedback is without substance.

Since you as staff are activly promoting gambling without license on this forum and claim to protect bitcointalk members.....

Maybe you can tell me what kind of probability setting have your advertised gambling website so people won't become addicts and won't lose their last underpants ?

In a licensed and governmental controled gambling websites these settings are defined by law to protect customers.

What about your gambling website ?What are their probability settings ?

I highly doubt you know them.

How can I be a pedophile when I'm only 15? Roll Eyes

Those are mighty strong words you're using. If only you spent as much time learning English as you did trolling, perhaps you would be able to formulate a proper sentence.

I think he means house edge but let him rant on, this is quite funny.
Interestingly enough, I did have a thread discussing the effects of higher house edge: that it was inversely proportional to the number of problem gamblers created.

It's biggest nonsense that I read today. Why do you want to ban Lauda only? Lauda is the only person on this forum who promote gambling website? Following your logic half of forum should be banned. BTW, things like Bitcoin or ICO's is also illegal in some countries. So, users who promote ICO's also should be banned if it's illegal in their country?
And are you sure that gambling is illegal in Lauda's country?
Anyway, your accussation is useless because this rule is about marketplace - it's not allowed to sell illegal things on Bitcointalk like drugs and similar stuff. Signature advertisements ≠ marketplace

Don't worry, Thule is now asking to ban all gambling advertising (sorry, I can't be bothered to post a link but you'll find it in Meta).

If only he could channel all this energy into something productive. Or at least get laid and stop fucking around the forum.
