UPDATED!

As some of you know already, I am partaking with an upcoming ICO project and it is very important to me and my team to know how to get the best out of it. My question is, what is your general view on ICO's in 2019. This will help us better understand where to bring extra clarity to our ICO project here.

People are realising the crypto market bottom is just around the corner, if not now, and the only way from here is UP!

The majority of people in the crypto market and blockchain space have become very careful and informed about which projects to contribute to next thus.

The purpose of this thread was to find out where to put more focus for our ICO project in order to make everyone understand it better.

It is very relevant to today crypto market and we are entering in a sector in which we are going to be frontiers in!

If you are part of an ICO team then you may need to know much about the bounty hunters here.

Still the year not looks healthy for the ICOs even there is a slight improvement for the cryptos so you may have to wait longer to get your sales completed or it will be the project same as in 2018.

in my opinion this year's ICO project has not been interesting, now ICO has stopped many of their sales tokens because the market is not conducive. but the market is currently experiencing a pretty good improvement lately.

as bounty hunter, we need a clarity for the fundamental concept of the project, also the PLAN B if the project was failed to reach the soft cap. what will you do if that happen ? still give a compensation or run away ? we need to know thanks.

I currently don't participate in ICO's . Only if i find really the one with good idea and future use case . As my statistics show's then its better to grab some tokens after exchange listing , not in ICO . Because price usually is like 5-10x less from ICO price on exchange . I know you will have some news on your project soon  , but i advice you to make IEO instead of ICO . You will save some time on KYC approvals and will have some marketing from exchange .
Initial Exchange Offering stands for IEO . Thats same what BTT did on Binance and they sold out in 15 minutes . Not sure how many it costs to make IEO on binance , but there is other exchanges that offer this kind of service .

2019 has been convenient for icos
Icos have failed because the project was poor with no product or hypes
Icos have succeeded due to good product, positive hypes and good management skills from the tea.

For my observation generally since we are just in the 1st quarter of 2019 I think the ICO's was still thriving. But the struggle is real and its very challenging to raise even just the softcap thats why most of the ICO's was reduce its target softcap and Hardcaps. due to this ICO Market situation.

I’m on a neutral side because not all project is scam, and not all projects are good so i think it will be base on you decision whether to invest on shit projects or not. ICO is not good right now honestly, but I know it will recover some time in the future so be good on your decision making.

Look at the market and be a trusted guy, that's what we are looking for.  Try to prove yourself if you are a competence developer that can be trusted. Most of people are looking for the competence developer which fully understand about the law. So many people are putting their attention to this area.

So far, all projects are at the level of last year. I don't see much improvement. I do not invest in ICO, because I think it is very risky.

I think that all those ICOs that started when the market reached the bottom are more likely to succeed!

Hi Thanasis. I think this is a very good year and is looking very healthy because the entire crypto market has nearly bottomed meaning that the only way from here is up. Also, 2019 is the year for quality ICO's as everyone has become more demanding and are looking forward to quality projects considering every smallest detail put in the project.

Expect more security tokens being issued. In the early days, ICOs were completely unregulated. Those days are gone. Now investors face a risk from an unexpected source – if regulatory bodies deem that the ICO they have invested in is guilty of security fraud, they could lose their investment.
As a result, 2019 could very well see the general replacement of traditional ICOs with security tokens. Those companies making offerings in the United States are expected to start acting in accordance with the SEC’s security regulations. Companies outside the United States might very well be forced to follow suit as a way of coaxing more investors into the fold. Well, just a two cents in this regard. Continue your research and ICO exploration. I better get  back to my gaming session now. Best of luck!

Since 2018 the ico projects has lost morethan 90% of its stance. Many project has actually failed due to lack of funding and apart from that the increase rate of scam projects has contributed in the lack of trusts in ico projects. The ico will still be there but will not be that Trust worthy if it is not regulated

To me the number of ico projects are increasing day by day. I think this number must be controlled. You will see that most of the ico coins are valued less than a dollar. So if the number is regulated then the price may go higher and number of fake ico will reduce.

The ICO project is very much at present, and there are only a few successful and successful ICO projects, even more than 50% fail. And because of this ICO project, many investors lost their money and the people who participated in the bounty campaign did not get paid. And for this reason, there are now many people who are not interested in ICO anymore.

My general view in ico this year is to restore investor confidence that has been lost, we can see many ico who failed to achieve sales targets in the past year and this year, and this is clearly caused by many investors who have been less trusting ico.

There is still good ICO one example is xera project I am one of their bounty hunters they failed to reach their soft cap but because they believe they have a good project, they prefer to go on and continue their exchange platform and just use their own funds to continue.

I think that for bounty hunters is very important to know a plan B if private sale and ICO won't reach softcap so that . we can have some insurances that we will not just waste time.
