I don't think there is any exchange out there is safe enough to store cryptocurrency that why I only wanna hold my cryptocurrency inside my coldstorage wallet. There are so many traders lost their money because of holding cryptocurrency on exchange although it's the best exchanges like Binance or Bittrex.

I never hold my coins in exchanges. I just use them only for the exchange.. I'm not a good trader. previously I tried 2-3 times. but didn't able to become a successful trader. Anyway, trader or token holders shouldn't use a bunch of exchanges. Especially traders. Limite the trading only for the good and reputable exchanges is the best action.

I always use centralised and decentralised exchanges both. But I also marked some exchanges and never used them. Security for the centralised exchange is very challengeable. And most of the exchange hacked once at least. So that's why decentralised exchange are better. But tge problem with decentralised exchanges are the trading volume and sometimes the price fractuation and hard to use. But this kind of exchanges are best.

Decentralized exchanges attract users with their anonymity and transparency. But now they are significantly inferior to the centralized in speed of work and functionality. As long as they are at least roughly equal to the traditional exchanges in these indicators, they will not be able to oust the centralized exchanges from the market.
Of course they are convenient, I agree , and the chance that it will crack all wallets small as decentralized , so I think that the liquidity is very low on such exchanges which is very sad for me

the best action is to keep your money in a cold wallet and when the price rises then to sell on one of the popular exchanges that are trusted by a large number of people. quick exchange and then transfer back to the cold wallet.

Exchange saving is for those with big assets they thing can't be contained in their personal wallets. I do not see the need leaving my asset in an exchange when I know most are prone to hacks.

Im never good at trading ,always lose money but how about those who lose money due to exchange been hacked? Well thanks to new exchanges that only support p2p ,no profiles ,no emails ,no passwords, they are the safest out there ,this is why I'm so hooked with changelly since 2016 ,so use this kind of exchanges and you are safe from hacks and phishing who is with me? Other exchanges that are like changelly are ethershift and tokenmom ,there might be others too

Well if you not a trader you do not need hold your cryptocoins at exchange. Local wallet is the best choise. In that case only you responsible for you funds.

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

Well you must be joking if you think Ethershift or whatever you call it will come and displace the already existing exchange that have gained trust for it users. It will be extremely difficult to do that now in the manner in which the Cryptocurrency Space is at the moment. Clients like me will prefer to use the already existing exchange like Bithumb, Binance, OKEx and other top exchange in the space and not some funny looking exchange that will make withdrawal of assets difficult for it users or come up with manipulated volumes.

This is your decision mate, but personally, I don't like any exchanges from your favourite lists! Changelly seemed well once but now I don't need it. I have no idea about Tokenmom, and Ethershit doesn't look a potential exchange! I love decentralized exchanges like Allbit, Idex, Forkdelta and so on. But overall, you can't ignore those centralized exchange with high security! I respect your decision but my opinion is different here! There are many exchanges which are better than your mentioned exchange. Good Luck.

Centralized exchanges are about speed and liquidity. Decentralized exchanges (if designed properly) add another level of security. In the future decentralized exchanges will play a more important role when intercommunication protocols are ready.

Well i guess we need to be safe on the exchanges that we conduct our trades. Some of them are not secured and it makes them prone to cyber attacks. Take for instance what happened to Cryptopia and Coinrail. I don't think i am ever going to trade on such platforms.

Some exchanges are scammers, a friend was complaining to me how a certain exchange disabled his 2FA and stole his tokens. Since then I ve been trading on only the established traditional exchange platforms.

Yes you are right, there are many other decentralized exchanges that have more potential with high trading volumes, such as Idex, bancor, etc. Ethershift seems to be a new product that still needs further development.
Btw, for the security of your coins and tokens, don't use wallet exchange to save assets, the risk is big, use an exchange wallet only when trading.

Yes, like I am not good at trading on many exchanges. I see that many people have many exchanges. But they ignore security so that without directly checking the list of new exchanges. And in my opinion this is a mistake and if I only focus on the exchange market that has a large volume.

Sometimes we have to use less secure exchanges for trading for sometimes. Specially for bounty hunters and Airdrop hunters have to do so. So we should remember to use it with secure manner. try to withdraw funds as soon as possible is essential habit when using them

for me, so far I still use exchanges that have large volumes such as binance and hitbtc because in my opinion the market is easy to sell because it has a volume that is very basic and also easy to use.

I hear it, I feel sorry for our brothers who lost their cryptos assets. Even until now cryptopia still remain inactivity. It's really better to save it to our personal wallet and we hold their private key. No matter how secure an exchange is, there will come a time when the security will be broken by a hacker.

Decentralized exchanges are usually the best and safest because you have your private keys and projected from hacks. How ever, some centralized exchanges with 2fa are also good to use
