The dominance of Bitcoin is on its peak already and the reason is because most of the investors are focusing on Bitcoin and only BITCOIN!!!.. Anybody can suggest any altcoin they want or they can suggest any coin they are holding here (another form of advertising) but for me, it will still be Bitcoin and nothing else.

I respect your opinion, and I agree that bitcoin should be on the top  of the investment list. I wouldn't underestimate other top coins, that are around for years, ethereum, litecoin, monero, and some others. New and old investors should invest in these coins first and only  with the money left to pay attention on some undervalued coins under $10, like waves, eos and nano.

no, I don't think it should be. enough bitcoin and ethereum alone is enough to be the best investment plan. too many coins in your portfolio will only make you busier. You should pay attention to charts, news and all the speculation of each coin you own. and I think it's troublesome. so it's better enough to just 2 or 3 coins in your long-term portfolio.

For enjoying the right choices, traders must be able to understand the difference between the top altcoin and small marketcap coin investment. Potential coins can be found after making enough research and there is no helpful guide by the other investors. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two big exceptions due to the taken market share which is over 78% afaik. In the social trading platforms, the majority of the crypto traders suggest investing in the low marketcap altcoins. If you're talking about what the Best coin to invest in, Bitcoin is still king and next safest and most chance to give you profit is ETH. Though we should not count the top 10 coins in the market right now, XRP is growing crazy and other coins are joining in the ride. There are upcoming projects that has a good potential to be used worldwide due to it's good use case. An example would be companies that are taking advantage of how big they are and are charging crazy fees, a Telecom company running on blockchain is aiming to solve that problem.

Another avenue you can look into are coins doing their IEO or ICO's. But be careful and make sure you check trusted sites if they're legit or not. Even though we're way past 2017 where there were a lot of scams that happened, we should all still be cautious and use all the resources that we possibly could.

I am also looking at ethereum and ltc for the long term, I have seen from the first two coins that are very good to be used as a long-term investment. and one more coin that I monitor is XLM, this coin is also similar to ethereum and ltc the price is quite stable and always follows the cryptocurrency market flow
