So my ISP is forcing me to close up shop.  Here's how this will work:

1.)  Don't worry, I have your coins and they will be paid out soon.
2.)  To continue mining, use the other APH pools aph.charityminingpools.com or https://aph.deadly-silence.org/index.php
3.)  I will shut the stratum down soon.  After all the blocks are confirmed you will be able to do payouts.
4.)  Once all payouts are done I will shut the site down completely

1 APH should be .3 to .5 BTC.  Because Cyprus GDP is 23Billion USD while Iceland  is only 14 Billion USD.

You can also move your miners to aph.charityminingpools.com. We can really use the hash power.  See our post above for pool details and promos.

https://aph.deadly-silence.org pool is where it's at. Pool already commands 1/5th of total APH hashrate so far as of this post.

We have a chat room available at https://www.hardfought.org/phpBB3/chat if you need to grab hold of an admin or just chat about whatever.

To the OP - hope you guys know what you're doing and are legitimately able to help the people of Cyprus.

Another scamcoin.  press releases are obviously an easy thing to get out using http://www.prnewswire.com/
WSJ checked up on this guy “Costa Themistocleus”:

- Cyprus too? A PR Newswire press release announced today the creation in Cyprus of “aphroditecoin,” an idea that seemed based on the auroracoin, which is being distributed to every one of Iceland’s 330,000 citizens and which has soared in price since its launch two weeks ago.  Some 885,000 Cypriots will similarly get an “airdrop” of “aphroditecoins,” the press release said. It also claimed that the reaction in the nation – which, like Iceland, has gone through its own financial crisis — was “concordantly positive.”

But when we looked into it, odd things emerged. We dialed the number for someone listed as “Costa Themistocleus” and were told it was a wrong number. We then went to the Aphroditecoin.org web site and discovered that it was based off a carbon copy of the auroracoin.org site, with large sections of its front-page manifesto by “Costa Themistocleus” lifted directly from that of Baldur Friggjar Odinsson, the pseudonymous creator of auroracoin.

So, we found the only email on the site, one used as a pitch for developers to help out – dev@aphroditecoin.org – and it bounced. Then we noticed something else: unlike auroracoin.org, which has a button with which to toggle between English and Icelandic, there was no option to read about this project in Greek or Turkish.

This all seemed like a pretty good reason not to hit the software download buttons on the home page. Until we hear back from “Mr. Themistocleus,” we don’t think anyone else should do so, either.

For what it’s worth, though, you can follow aphroditecoin on Twitter @aphroditecoin.  (Michael Casey)

I suggest talking to the guys at https://xnigma.com for an exchange option. Relatively new site, but looks and works great so far. They also seem more willing to add new coins than most sites. Give them a shot.

Can give me a shot too if want, help out my 12 orphans!

Behind every commercial project there is an intention to earn as much money as possible. I do not believe in your innocent intentions to help people. If you wanna help, sent you $ to charity. What you really want is to try to endow APH with real value (convince people that APH worths something) and get rich fast selling your premined coins. It is pure scam.

75% premine, really?

And you lied about the government being in on this coin, maza coin lied about the same thing, and look how shit that coin turned out.

Spain coin were honest about the government not being in on their coin, and that coin seems to be doing quite well.

Transparency goes far in the crypto community, I will not be mining or buying. Bye

just read the first 10 pages of Auroracoin and now the first 8 here and seems like AUR had more haters in the beginning Cheesy
but still aurora is 4. biggest coin at coinmarketcap. I bought a few AUR very cheap because I like these kind of ideas and it made me a huge profit.
Doing the same here. Mining since launch and don't see any reason why it won't go big like AUR
