Ohhh Samsung is making a smart move with new addition innovative feature that bridge the gap between the people who hasnt introduced to cryptocurrency yet and the people who are currently into it. These could be both benificial for the company and customers.
Anyway, I will be expecting an arising issue regarding that specific feature, most especially if we're talking about how secure is the private key storage, especially when the phone is lost or stolen. Everyone knows that this phone contains and support financial information in cryptocurrency, It might be someone would try to get in to your storage. Trust me, someone will gonna do it.

The price of smartphone obviously will be expensive but i would listen from people reviews during use this whether it will be good or bad but i have to says Samsung already makes important step when decide to involved to cryptocurrencies industry and they as the pioneer should be followed to other vendor because if this is successfully and people satisfied with that smartphone i think possibly to crypto users switching their smartphone to Samsung and automatically Samsung can increase their costumers

This is a welcoming news for everyone, specially though techie out there, who loves to have the latest technology on their hand.  . This could be a win win situation for samsung and the crypto enthusiast. Now we enjoy the best of both worlds. Right now we have no idea exactly how it works. People are arguing all over Reddit that its not a "wallet" and just something to "store private keys" which doesn't make much sense.

Because if you got a secure way of storing the keys, what happens when you actually want to spend them? You also need a secure way of inputting the seed, making a transaction and broadcasting it.

People also have online banking on their phones and financial apps like Revolut, PayPal... There is always some risk but if you have password (or pattern) set to unlock the phone and another password when accessing banking app/private keys, you are relatively well-protected. If Samsung adds a feature of locking private keys when you lose a phone, the risk becomes negligible.

By the context, it looks like their version of a built-in hardware wallet not just a private key storage (if ever, it will be an obsolete feature).

Yes good news, its great to see a BIG name brand jumping on board the
crypto train. They either see a true increase in adoption of crypto in the
future or its just a gimmick.

The price is quite high though and im not sure either that I would be
confident in my wallet security unless there are new security and

Samsung is big company and I'm happen they embrace cryptocurrency ,this is another success for cryptocurrency at least a leap forward ,things are getting better and its only a matter of time now ,mainstream adoption is not far away anymore

This is obviously amazing news and I really wonder what the impact of this will be.
You've basically got the largest smartphone manufacturer actively promoting Bitcoin to all of its users, literally millions of people worldwide.

Of course, most people probably won't even use this wallet, but just to have the wallet there on their phone gives Bitcoin a whole lot of exposure.

Samsung is fighting competition which is very harsh and this is probably the decision they made to be at least one step in front of them. Which is definetely good news for all cryptocurrencies users and Samsung will get new customers. But it's yet to see how will this function in reality and what will be security features and possible vulnerabilities, that is very important.

So I guess this was the reason behind a slight bump in the prices of most coins? Not that I really care about speculation but I guess it's not a small impact.

There were big names and companies that was link with crypto in the recent news, this could be many of reasons why the price  increase a little. If more news is going to spread and would give people good impression, this could lead to continuous growth of price. It's the best time to buy and hold, sooner or later the price will go better.

I'm still not buying this, too expensive to be honest. I'm an old school as you can get so I would rather buy hardware wallets as they're way more cheaper plus you still feel safe. I'm not saying that the Samsung phone is bad, but we all know our smart phones are always online, so there is the risk than your wallet can be expose and your coins can be compromise, just saying.

An expensive phone like this doesn’t even fit on my pocket, so I will also not buy this one just because they support cryptocurrency. Anyway, I also love an old school phone but of course this is great for samsung users here.

I doubt it will cost 1980$ or even 1600$ just because they have added something related to crypto. S9 price was a bit over 700$ when it was released so for S10 the maximum price I expected to be is 1500$ but even that seems much. It will probably be somewhere around 1000-1250$.

The s10+ is available here on preorder for the equivalent of 1900$.
The cheapest version is at 1100$.

Yes, that's what it does, it stores your private keys and it gives access to the 3rd party app you want to use as a wallet to them . Feeling safe?

This will make a domino effect with other phone brands. Other phone brands will do what Samsung did too in the next years. I'm happy that they supported cryptocurrency for a long time already and this additional feature is another step for mass adoption since many are using Samsung in the world.

I think its confirmed, and honestly it made me goosebump because it looks like most of the big companies are now  supporting cryptocurrency. This is the beginning, we will benefit a lot from this market. 

Samsung started to adopt crypto year ago and this is part of their full support for this currencies and technology

But confirmation is what we need or atleast the actual features of this new model of samsung fo the humirs become reality ..

A lot of people are excited again to witness the new smartphone flagship of samsung. Few hours from now and they will reveal it.

I already heard about this rumor last week, The phone has special features on crypto, Well it is Samsung last time I posted some news here about them making their own mining equipments.

Very clever marketing strategy by samsung i must say , because of this little feature included, the price of this phone will be..     well crypto community can't complain, afterall we always shout and wish crypto goes mainstream media, samsung just did it for us , very soon we can expect the next bull run sooner than expected
On a more serious note, i do see it as a very good way of bringing the awareness of blockchain and crypto to a more vast audience, more people who buy this phone will definitely see that feature, those who don't already have idea about crypto will be eager to know, so, it's good news in a way.

i am still not sure about this. i think i have to wait until it is actually released to see what it is doing. at this point it mostly seems like the infrastructure that allows storage of private keys in a secure manner in the phone's hardware and it is not a wallet but you have to build wallets on top of it yourself. if that is the case then it can be a good thing in my opinion although it still is a bit strange to be honest.

Yeah, it's a bit strange, but my problem is that hackers all all over the place, so the possibility is always there, but we will see, I'm sure there could be lots of mix emotions about it one, specially for those crypto holders who are paranoid about security.

For me as long as the phone has the basic support, ability to call or received a call, of course the sms messages, then I'm fine with what phone I'm using. But yes, this is really great for the whole crypto market, so I'm not totally against it, but I'm not willing to shell out thousands of dollars.
