From my point of view, I dedicate myself to be a market speculator, therefore I always try to take advantage of the market, studying it every day and taking positions and see what turns out to be better, but I must follow the direction of the market, I can not go against, otherwise it would lose.

If you have enough money, what can help a lot is that you allocate a portion of Investment to Bitcoin or to an Altcoin that you see has a good future, and you can get fast profits according to how you make decisions in the trading market, if you see that you can do it, because many times as I see the market, I do not go in all the time, since I find it better to be out of it sometimes.

This has a lot to do with the criteria to be taken into account, if you have the possibility to follow and make trading based on fundamental analysis, it would be very useful, because from the market point of view, we are in an accumulation phase market where volatility can be very determinant

but if we trade daily we must always be clever in looking for opportunities and know when we can sell our coins appropriately for profit because now is the lowest price of bitcoin and that is our challenge to always be ready every time.

Exactly, if you are not sure about a project then it is you who have the authority to decide whether it is good to go for it or not. HODL is a factor that is most likely chooses by those who want to stay connected with the crypto market for long future. I think that everyone has the same problem and just has to come up with a decision...
If you gain a few quick profits and buy back at a lower price, you'll be increasing the ammount of your coin but also risk loosing your position, as you can't know if it will ever come back below your sale level...
the trick maybe in doing a few quick profits, but always leaving a stash of the coin for holding.... this way you reduce the risk and at the same time increase your coin.

Looks like you are being sarcastic. How come one makes good profits if there is no surety about the project under question? I will never go for one and would only do so after some good assessment of the team and by looking at the demand of the coin/token in the market. I rather prefer a long term speculation over a short term quick profit thing that enable you enjoy just for the time being.

It depends on your profit appetite. everyone is bullish now. but one more fall is inevitable. You can take quick profits now if you would want to renter after a retracement. however, if you are in it for the long term, I'd suggest you simply not take profits and wait. the profits that are on their way is way bigger than any little profits you can take now. however, that's my own opinion though, the action is at your own discretion. do what you feel is right for you and your risk appetite

Why should I hodl when I know I can make profit from my money?
It's not about which is best for whole human in this world. But it depends on personal to take decision based on their understanding, their knowledge, their ability to manage their assets. If you know a lot how to make money form your current money, then I'm sure you will do invest in something profitable. But If you have less knowledge about how to make profit, then of course you will just hold and wait.

In my humble opinion, HODLing is bad because you will be just waiting your assets to increase in value while you can't add more assets. What if a bad things happen and you can't recover it? You will be just crying on the backyard hoping everything will be back or wish the time to roll back. That's why trading is the best option, you don't only need to wait your assets to the moon but of course taking an opportunity to earn profits and add more assets. You can also spend some of your profit and enjoy it.

Since it depends on personal ability, you can choose what is the best. If you didn't learn much how to make money then HODLing is the best for you, just wait and don't lose your assets. But, if you know how to take an opportunity to make money then do trade as it's the best decision to increase your total assets. It's not that easy, you may need to cut-loss but by time I'm sure you will be able to recover it and make more profit than before.

Overall, I suggest everyone to learn how to trade, and start making money from it since crypto exchange is still weak and it's highly possible to earn profit as much.

I have been traumatized by this type of token which says it will experience a price increase in the long run. All the tokens that were held began to become worthless and make new garbage in my wallet.

You must did not invest in good coin because those good coins I have been holding since long but till now it only made value and gained profit, so it is all about eh coin we invest our money, there is no rule in crypto currency to get quick or fast profit for better success we will have to keep patience and wait.

I'm sure the market is better no than when this thread started. Everyone including traders and investors all want to gain profits from their investment. For those who have invested it bought bitcoin when it was at a low rate will be happy now having made a good bargain.

I don't advise holding unless you have full details and information about the token. It will be crazy to loose your investment in this uncertain times

it all depends on the person capability and market situation,even though you want to trade but the market is not that good to have a good trade then that is the hindrance, as long as there is a chance to trade and earn daily then do it and hold what you can, you can hold while trading.

Yeah that is pretty right. It depends on a person’s financial status as well as one’s love and affection with cryptocurrency. The coins that have been in the market and have gained good fame have been considered as means of making riches in cryptocurrency market. This is one reason people prefer to HODL such coins like Bitcoin and ETH. If you do the cost and benefit analysis, short term profits are not worth what you could make in the long term HODL.

It not only depends on financial status, the experience and knowledge of market matters more than that.

Gaining profit is better than only hold bitcoin. The trend of bitcoin market is positive now so trading bitcoin will be profitable. Usually I avoid trading when the market is negative because its hard to make profit at that time. But when the market trend is positive it is easy to make profit from trading.

Usually I avoid trading when the market is negative because its hard to make profit at that time. But when the market trend is positive it is easy to make profit from trading.

I usually trade when the market is pumping up, because we can easily gain profits according to our determination. But if we are eager to earn massive money, holding is the appropriable way to gain enormous profits in return of wide patience we have to spend on. And I think it is about individual deliberations on how to  earn profits in an accommodate way.

There are so many people out there who have been traumatized by the dubious and fake projects that during the time of investment promise big rise and gains in future. I think it is high time to limit your investment only to the projects that would truly grow in future. The scams and fake projects will not get any funds and would perish super quickly.

If talking about the strategy depends on your analysis of the market, for me quick sell maximizes profits, here every increase will definitely have a correction so before there is a correction I choose to sell with a profit from what I target or get. It's just that for this time the correction isn't here yet and I don't think there's a correction this week and maybe the increast continues, if you decide to hold it is the best choice and a quick sell is also good.

Yeah it is good to trade when the price is good and you consider yourself safe as a trader,  if you see market is moving downwards of market is bullish then we cannot think about trading but it will be good to wait with patience as in case of trading our patience is the real key of success specially when the market is down, otherwise rise and fall is only because of crypto currency volatility and we should only use it properly to gain the profit form lose.
