What's the difference in betting between spending big and betting a lot of times? If we are talking about chances then spending big is not the best choice here but if we are talking about of an exact result then betting it one time is your best choice, just like using the martingale strategy.

Yes, indeed. That's why I avoided betting on lotteries after that my first experience to it. I already foresee that getting losses becomes more frequent here compare to other kinds of gambling. Their is very little chance to take advantage because either you win or lose 100% of the amount bet on. So it is luck in many games which plays a vital role deciding your chance of winning . Also in gambling overall winning % is less than losing the bets.
