The good news is that Bitcoin IS the future. 

The bad news is that you just might need patience to see it. 


I think this is a temporary spike and we will stay between 2500 and 5000 until just before the next halving.  As with the last halving we saw a huge spike a few months before and then a moonshot several months after.

so 20,000 x 5 % is 1,000. a 95% loss

this means you are into something other than btc.

as it went from 20,000 to 3,100 or  an 84.5 % loss

So your math is off if you are talking about BTC

I get you may have been diverse   and BCH even with the split is still way down.

This a round bout way of asking  did you really buy in Dec 2017  or did you buy early peak up and hodl while it crashed.

I know some guys with 150 btc that just hodl and did not sell a single coin in 2017 dec.

If you really put in most of your money from Nov 2017 to Jan 2018   you are way down and you should hold for a while longer.

I do not know if we will even get back to 20000 but we could see some upward movement from now till dec 2021

Too early to say that, but this might due while halving is approaching. This increase might only short or long but this still best news for the past few months.

i think right now is not a bull market, it's just a recovery from before. cause the price is just keep on that point. let's see for 1-2 month if it's increasing a lot i think it's a bull market. don't worry about investing in bitcoin is the future. invest and keep HODLING

Well, all I can say to this is that, this is not the bull run. We need to observe a few more day and see the status and progress of the crypro market thread. The community of the crypto currencies is just recovering now. Even little by little this gives us all hopes.

We are on a green now but I don't think that this is a sign for a bull market, it's slowly happening though and I think it's much better than a spike increase of prices of cryptocurrencies. The current price as of now is almost the price of Bitcoin on December of last year so it's too early to say that we're in a bull market.

In my prediction, if we pass the $5,000 mark before the month ends then we're going on a bull run, I've been an avid fan of Bitcoin ever since I knew it and I watched how it solidifies.

Bitcoin has not passed the 4000$ line since last year and it's great to see its price going to 4100$ but still this doesnt mean we are in a bull market. I think only after the price goes over 5000$ we can consider that and then wait for it to reach 10.000$ or more during this summer. Unlike the market scenario it is true, bitcoin is the future. A longest bear market now has come to an end as small scale growth has taken place with bitcoin. I think he invested on other alternative Crypto currency other than Bitcoin but based on his paragraph it looks like he invested on Bitcoin because he said this "Did people finally realize that bitcoin is the future?" or he is just creating some fake stories and trolling around the forum.
Yeah there are a lot of people invested on Bitcoin when it is on all-time-high, I wonder what are they doing now.

Don't be fooled. We've already seen this movement before and I think this is just another trap to lure newbies hoping that they are seeing the bull. The bull will come months before the halving. Although the movement is positive, that doesn't mean a positive bull. But I might be mistaken since all I've seen are traps this year.

It is not a good time to get carried away by emotions, these movements are very positive, but, Bull Run is very early, since there are still many Bitcoins to accumulate, if you check the millionaire portfolios, you can see it.

The best thing to do is wait, it can be weeks, months, whenever necessary ... it can continue to increase, but at any time it will be corrected, it is the Law of Effort Results that obeys the Offer and the Demand.

We thought that bitcoin price now is on the bull because the price finally can break $4000, but as others said, it could be a trap for us because we want to chase the price for making a profit.

But if the bull run is really happenings now, then we need to place the bitcoin on the sell order especially if you are suffering from the last year because you bought bitcoin the high price. But it doesn't mean that you need to sell right now, you could still hold your bitcoin until the last price you bought so you can expect to make a profit.

But it's too early to say the bull market came because we need to see what will happen in the next weeks and if somehow the price can increase higher than now, then the bull run slowly turn the position of the bear market or at least, the price can stay at a price now.

But if it's not, then we will see the price get down again in less than $4000.

Yeah sure, it will be boomed if this current price now will be continued rising up. But there is a significant if we heard a piece of good news that might be the reason for spiking price in the market. However, I'm just afraid if this will end up with a bull trap, well, I hope that is not, all we have to the now is watch the market and patiently wait for the aiming profit that we wanted for.

I agree with you man. We need to remind ourselves that from last 2017 of december, btc lost more than 150% of its value while majority of altcoins lost 1k% from their all time highs. Maybe we could start celebrating and announce its a bull market when it goes back to $15k again.

Nope.

This is just the confusing Wave 4 of the Elliot Wave Theory and there will be a time that it will test again its previous lows. There is no bull market at this moment. I think the best thing to do is lets just hold what coins are we holding right now and sell it after a few years.
