For me it's quite simple.
You play only to double or triple your money(I'm talking about poker).Nothing more.
If you double/triple your money,you just leave the table and start playing 24 hours later with the same start amount from the previous day.If you lose everything,you just leave the table and play again after 24 hours(the moment of tilt will be gone).

I have find  this method  for myself and that helped me a lot  after my  summer  lost  , I lost everything I had  won and  saved for 1 year ,
I lost 53 million Satos  0.53 BTC  in  1 week .

I think it depends on how much you win.

If someone wins the lottery which is in the multi-millions, they will most likely stop buying more lottery tickets and keep their winnings.

I haven't spoken to my brother in over 7 years. , , all due to the fact that he has lost my trust , and always to forgive the man that hurt . But I was lucky in my life  to find  good and reliable friends .  If a person does not have someone to trust his money ,  he must put  his   winning money in place from there  will be extremely difficult  make another deposit  .

Do you believe that people actually do that. I am sure they are not instead they get greedy and loose the fund on investing more funds over multiple gambling options. I have some friends did this kind of things and lost many of their funds in the peak time of cryptos.

I always suggest to keep some funds on cold storage or paper wallet and forget it for some month until we see the next bull run.
