This thread was last active on July 22, 2024, 04:49:09 PM - mainly because of your reply post. Based on my search of DdmrDdmr profile - he last did it on June 09, 2024 between 05:12:27 PM and 05:33:39 PM - after that his merit posting activity went back to normal like most other merit source.

I miss him and hope he doesn't forget to scratch some of my posts with some of his merit - LOL.

Have also been wondering how he does it, though have no power to question about his spree. But just to get good post on the pipeline, as you said didn't you think he already selected post to spree maybe who knows and i don't know how he does that.

I am pretty confident about how he does it.
But this is far beyond the scope of this thread.
And I don't want to spoil the fund of everyone indulging in very boring technical stuff on hot to GET merit sent to the right post.

It's a shame because it's not just that, he doesn't write as much, he doesn't give as many merits, he's not as active on the forum anymore. On the bright side, he maintains a certain amount of activity, because others just disappear and we don't hear from them anymore.

If he's not active as regular then it's assumed that he is cooking something big out there to come back or maybe he might be busy in real life as I believe everyone has their personal problems to face including you and I. If I have important thing to sort out there I wouldn't be that active relating them here than handling them before coming back online to continue every other activities I might seems to hold here. I just hope he is fine out there.

Things come and go.
It's challenging to be consistent on the forum, and yours truly has been quite aware of this (hint: 534).
Often, this is not possible for the greater good of more important things.
Time is a scarce resource, even more scarce than Bitcoin.
The important thing is that he is fine!

TOCK This second spree was fairly big: the third spree in history. Quite normal given the fact that @ddmrddmr has been quiet for so long, and probably had a gargantuan backlog of past merits to serve.

Yes, as he's been less active on the forum lately and it's been a while since he's treated us to one of these sprees it wasn't something you'd expect but it makes total sense on the last day of the year. Despite being less active he continues to update his threads on Meta regularly and now this.

A little more than a year after the last spree, my hairy wrist started trembling under a notification spree by tryninja bot, and a big smile appeared on my face.

Yes, it was nice indeed. Although he is nowhere near as active as he used to be, he still updates his threads weekly, giving some merit and writing very occasionally. This merit spree is much appreciated. Let's hope he gets back into the habit.

It is beautiful to witness DdmrDdmr's merit spray again. Although it didn't get to me but I am so happy that he is back again. Who knows if he saw my post complaining that it's been long he made a spray.

TICK: This is the largest TICK spree so far. One metric that stands out is the low transaction-per-second rate. Digging a little bit into the distribution, we see there are two separate chunks of distribution. Maybe something didn't go as planned, and the spree got interrupted. Probably our mutual friend fixed something, and the TICK spree resumed!

It is exactly how many people that you interact with use it. Rules for Thee?   paco92x just don't say those things in public, that is how the other senior members do it. Merits are most often given based on who says something and whether they have given you merits before, this is evident in the historical merit behavior and in the merit clusters. The current reality behind this system is very far away from the original vision of the ideal system.
