The market is unpredictable no matter what we watch or news we review or see around we definitely have to keep fingers crossed and get to understand the market historically.

There is no exact time for bitcoin to reach the $9k value but time can tell if you can hold your bitcoin until blockhalving on 2020 maybe we will see this price again around December of 2020, not this year.
Just like what happened on blockhalving last 2017 we just saw the price reach $9k around November 2017.

This is just what my speculation is, anytime the price movement can be changed and the price of bitcoin always depends on demand and supply.
However, my speculation is always accurate as I comparing it from 2013 blockhalving where the price increased more than $1k. Same happened in 2017 that the price increased more than $19k so this coming blockhalving we will see this price again.

a 2x rise in one year is the smallest amount of rise that bitcoin can have! and it has always been like this. if you check the history you can see that apart from the time when bitcoin is recovering from a MASSIVE bubble that takes a long time, other times we always have at least 2x rise. so with that in mind you can bet your ass that price should at least be $7000 by the end of the year. and the thing with price rises after the big dump is that the reversal is similar to a bubble burst, it is slow at first but as we cross certain thresholds (possibly $5k this time) they speed up so we can see a shoot up to $9k and back to $10k by the end of the year. considering all the good news that has been coming out including Bakkt we can see how that is a strong possibility.

It is not good for Bitcoin to go there directly because it doesn't bring in investors but throw them far due to the fact that this doesn't seem like stability but just a bubble. It is considerable that there are so many facts which points the direction of BTC to be bullish, but it should not come all of a sudden and should grow gently to get more and more people join it willfully.

$9,000 by the end of the year? Wow, that will makes people dreaming about that. But although that person said that, I don't know because I cannot predict how much bitcoin price can reach at the end of this year. There are many possibilities for bitcoin price to increase and bitcoin can reach $9,000 in a short time if bitcoin want. But unfortunately, it depends on the market itself and what the traders will do.

I am sure that bitcoin will show the power again like before and bitcoin will not just reach $9,000 but even more. We only need to calm down, relax, enjoy the up and down of the price, make a buy order if necessary, sell a few parts of bitcoin to get the profit first and get your money, rebuy bitcoin if you want.

I believe that bitcoin might come close to 10K USD by the end of the year and I don't need anaylsis/proof by some guys that are just promoting their youtube videos on Bitcointalk.

$9k at the end of the year is like x2 or more from the current price. So that alone is a huge barrier to break. But I guess everyone has it's thoughts. But we need to understand that we need some form of catalyst this break to even break the $5k mark. If there's none then I couldn't think of ways that we can achieve $9k. So let's say we remain optimistic in the remaining months and hope something pops-up that will push the price.

I don't know about you, but any form of speculation is really some way of wishful thinking, to me anyway.

Guys like Tom Lee maybe use some kind of TA and other insightful analysis, but at the end of the day, you can look back at all his predictions for 2018 and realize that he was just being a hopeful speculator like the rest of us.

CNBC too, those guys are funny, do opposite of what they say and you make profit.

There is also a signal that Bitcoin can hit 3000 but none refers to that. It comes up from the historical data and the charts that shows a new bottom at 3k.
I wonder why people ignore the downwards trend and they only make predictions that the price is going to hit a value around 10k by the end of 2019. It is still too early to predict that in my opinion.

And we were given signs like these the last year, but did it follow? Nope. The market is quite unpredictable. You can't say what is going to happen to the price the very next day. We have seen people giving insane prediction based on "signs" and then there were people that were giving those predictions randomly. None of them came out to be true. So chance are, this won't be true too.

But seriously such massive spike would cause another drop, roller-coaster once again. Isn't it better for the market to stay stable, like right now? Don't get me wrong, it would be great to see some nice but gradual progress. Spikes are not all that great, maybe only speculators can appreciate those.

Do not expect an answer from the dudes, they are just a youtube channel that basically listed their own video here and left, that is just pure marketing and done for getting views.

Basic idea is that whales and even bigger than whales just the pure trillion dollar huge corporations and investors are still favoring bitcoin and still collecting bitcoin no matter what and that in return makes other people realize that even tough bitcoin is low right now and it has been low for a while in the end bitcoin will go up. It doesn't matter if it goes any lower, it doesn't matter if it stays around here for a long time, the important news is that huge banks still buy bitcoin at thousands at a time and that means the future (however long it may take) is bright for bitcoin.

This current year where we will see big update that may the reason to recover the price of bitcoin in the market. But, still there is no assurance that might increase. I do not have any thought that bitcoin will reach $9000 in the of this year. Even it is possible I still not expect because it is unpredictable.

So your bet is on halving 2020? But last halving was in in mid 2016, and at that time price was around 450$, ending 2016 with almost 1000$. Maybe halving had some kind of connection with that, but just by cut block reward price will not go up like rocket. So if we speculate that last halving is responsible for last ATH (20 000$ December 2017), then next big pump could happen sometimes in December 2021, year and half after halving.

Regarding 9000$ by the end of the year, it is very easily possible, but there are no clear indications that this can happen. I can say that it is 50-50 chance to price go up, or to stay in today's range.

I just want the price to go up steadily, the exact price levels aren't that important to me. $5-$6-$7k is all fine, everything better than another massive correction from where we are right now.

If you think current levels are low, then let the next potential correction wake you up in the most brutal way, just like what happened when we went from $6000 straight to $3000 in a very short period of time.

Respect the market, that's very important. Don't assume that what seems to be consolidation is a bullish phase. We had plenty of consolidation between $6000 and $7000 and we still went down....

That is truth and that is if bitcoin will recover this year.  I see a strong resistance around $4150 and bitcoin has tried to break that level several times but it couldn't and a breakout of that level Will definitely going to create another bullish trend.

I think by looking at the current market conditions, the rise reaching 9k will be difficult, market movements are still slow and the highest possible price for this year is 7k.
