INTRODUCING COWRY (COW) - NOT JUST ANOTHER CURRENCY

Over the years, there have been some significant increase in the number of cryptocurrencies, out of which only few survived. Cowry (COW) is a next-generation, hybrid cryptocurrency based on Proof of Stake (POS) mining and Masternodes. It is a fork of the open-source project of PIVX. COW aims to become a quintessential cryptocurrency. It combines the pre-existing core features of other cryptocurrencies and refines them to produce a single currency capable to function with their strengths but without their deficiencies.Through inventing COWRY, we initiated a cryptocurrency that would allow for safe and secure storage of COWRY in a cryptographic, digital wallet. Besides, we have developed a fiscal pattern that would generate income for COWRY holders, while utilizing COW for the security of the COWRY blockchain. COW has the ability to provide near-instant payments through SwiftTX.  This allows COWRY holders the ability to transfer COWRY within seconds across a global network of Masternodes. One of our foremost goals is to create and promote a gambling platform with COWRY as its primary currency. COWRY will also partner with already established or new gambling platforms with aim of integrating it into their platforms. We will focus on the gambling market in Africa, where most of gambling transaction still go through the banking system. For COWRY to be mass adopted, we shall work with licensed betting Platforms in this jurisdiction, this will allow us use their Platforms for advertising and promoting it. Although, our focus is the adoption on COWRY in the gambling industry, we shall not restrict its use in it alone.
The contribution of COW to the cryptocurrency revolution is to usher in user-friendly devices to facilitate mass adoption. We will do this through a combination of first-of-its-kind partnerships and unique business models. It is our future goal to sustain the position of COW as a medium of exchange, unit of account and most importantly a store of value, therefore meeting the characteristics of money.

Upon the success of other cryptocurrrency projects, many projects began to clone them. Some of these clones promise to solve some of the world’s problems. However, many of them failed or ended up being total scams, which subsequently creates doubts about the mass adoption of cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
Some were even promising huge ROI, thereby creating hyperinflation and a subsequently sharp drop in price. Besides, some of the projects never had actual plans or how to achieve them.

Thanks for your comment. You are right that many coins spring up everyday and it is hard to know the projects that will last. But you have to note that you cannot know if something is going to fail or succeed if you do not start. Even if we say that we are a perfect project. people will still doubt and it doesn't even immune us from issues. If you could remember when ETH planned a fork earlier in the year but was later postponed due to issues on the blockchain? No project is immune from problems. We know that even some genuine projects have reduced or lost some of their devs due to lack of funds. In this crypto-sphere anything can happen to a project. The only thing is that, you should do your own diligence as the cryptocurrency market is very volatile. Some people will tell you good things about some projects while some people will be saying negative things at the same time. This is because they entered the projects at different time and any increase in price is a gain for the new investor while it is investment recovery to old investors.
There are many risk involved in crypto and I can tell you that I am invested in some other projects too. We did not create Cowry because we felt we could make quick money, rather we felt we could build something we will be proud of and eventually a means of income.

Thanks for your continued support. As you may be aware, the pre-sale ended yesterday. We are currently working behind the scenes towards achieving some of our goals for the 2nd Quarter 2019. There are been some talks about wallet hacks. We are not sure if they are true or rumours. However, we would advise all Cowry holders to encrypt their
wallets and not to download anything from websites they do not trust. No Cowry wallet has been affected, but we are monitoring the situation.

Work on the betting Platform has reached an advanced stage and should be ready for testing in about two weeks. We appreciate those who have remained with us and we will find a way to reward you for your support. We have observed that during our initial community building campaign, many inactive and fake people were invited so in order to curb this, we will soon be introducing the panda bot, which will be used to reward people for their activeness on our server. We believe in the long-term of this project so we are putting some things in place for the success of the project.
We are still waiting to hear from two of our preferred exchanges, once we are hear from them, we consider the various options and choose from our list. Currently, we are in talks with graviex, crex24, Escodex and Bitsane.
