Just a warning that since poker has become so popular in recent years with events being on TV, there are also a lot more professional players.
If you are just getting into poker right now for fun, then I hope you learn the tricks of the trade and enjoy the new sport.
However if you are trying to make serious money, your odds might be stacked against you since others have more experience in playing poker.

I've never played poker, I've heard a great many things about it.
I'd like to learn .. keep in mind I haven't even played rummy (the Indian card game)..so I'll be a complete noob.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Youtube videos are all fine and dandy but I'm looking for a guided tutorial game platform where it'll dive into the more technical side of things.

Thanks in advance.
I am glad you already know about YouTube videos and I will encourage you not to stop watching YouTube videos as consistency might really have a great role in, because irrespective of other ideas you will get here that remains the most exceptional, will suggest you also take advantage of your play store, I believe you will see free games you can use to try, also try asking your good-gambler-friends who are good with the game. They might just be in the best position to put you through.

Try hold'em texas poker surley you will get an idea how to play the poker. Smiley

But you should play offline poker games before betting on it or you will be all out soon by the experienced players.

We're the same I'd love also to learn poker, I have a little bit knowledge on apps poker but I think that is not good to play unlike if web platform. There are different from most other poker training sites in having a much broader offering like video training and live poker coaching and poker streams, here what I have found.

https://www.pokerstrategy.com/poker-streams/ => Live poker coaching.
https://www.splitsuit.com/                                => Article that may help you play better poker.

Good luck mate, update your thread if you found more knowledgeable and strategy in playing poker.

Thanks man - this is more close to what I'm looking for.

So, what exactly do you search? Huh I am curious about that. Did you already do your search with the search engine? Or do you just base on the member suggestion?

Perhaps, you can search by yourself first and then you can give more explanation about what actually you're looking for. I am sure that with Google, you can found tons of article explaining about the best place to learn Poker online and how to play Poker Online. Meanwhile, we could only guess about what you were searching on and give suggestion base of what we know.

Witnessing a tutorial on poker on YouTube is good for me, but it would be nice to dig deeper from several sources to be more detailed about the most sought after poker game concepts, then apply to any poker game on mobile, to hone skills and strategies that well, just think about it until you are sure to deepen it further, now there are many services that provide more knowledge about anything so don't worry about it and get back to your own spirit.

I'm not a pro poker player and I just learned the game through mobile games and doing some research about the game. It is also not mastered through 1 game but a constant practice and familiarization of the cards to do some strategy ingame.
I impressed on how you have been able to learn this game by using mobile app, it will really be of good benefit if poster can follow suit but sometimes it depends on the learners.

Not everyone is able to learn from an application or just by watching videos. Some people learn better when they see faces they are familiar with so my best advice would be that he looks out for people in his neighborhood who are good with the game and he might be challenged to learn faster.

In gambling, we have quotation “learning” and doing here means doing it practically.
Hence, I think that you should not really think about doing online. Doing things online and in real life are different things. Couple on good websites can teach you on Google how to play poker effectively and you can explore them over the internet but I do not think that you should really focus on online things alone.

i somehow agree on you  . its better if we can learn things in reality or on offline because that makes it more easier to understand  . we can also have a guidance to a veteran people that knows how to play that game  . if we already know the basics of playing a poker game , that is the time that we can look online for  more tips and tricks in order to improve our gambling experience  .

I personally do not want to accept that learning it offline would be the best. He can actually still learn on different applications online. He would not spend a dime to either learn watching YouTube or using apps on play store. And when opportune to get friends who can play, there would be the probability of paying to learn.

I think it will even be more convenient to learn online because he would have to watch videos when it’s convenient but to learn   from someone that would have to be creating a time that would suit the teacher. Even without having the basics of poker game, i can guarantee it can be learnt online from scratch. Might only require a lot of time and with consistency, he would be good with the game.

Honestly, i learned playing poker through playing with my friends because it will be easier for you if you will gonna play it on actual, but i started to enhance my skills in playing poker by playing in a crypto casino. I started to learn strategies like bluffing and predicting the upcoming cards and the cards of my opponents that makes the game exciting for me, that is why i really love the game poker than any other gambling games. Anyways, i am now playing poker in a crypto casino that i usually play which is vegascasino that has a lot of traditional table games and slots and you can receive great bonuses, especially for new players. It also has a live bitcoin casino games and live dealers that attracts thousands of crypto gamblers.

I learned playing poker thru my friends. We play casual poker games during our free time with a little bet. I think this will be the best way to learn poker instead of going thru video tutorials so that you will be familiarized with strategies and basics of poker.

It will be better to use some android apps and try their. You will learn their about the rules and you can practise their for losing nothing. If I can recall correctly, I learned most of those game from this kind of app. It's free and easy to learn.
That is the thing I used to do before to have basic knowledge about poker its a great idea to try it, I was able to play poker online on a trusted bitcoin casino aside from poker they also have gaming games like slots, roulette and blackjack. Well just like on other casino the bitcoin casino I play offers free bonuses that's why many of my friends are pretty interested about it. I have also try watching some videos and read some information online because I know that it can be a big help for me as a newbie to enhance my knowledge. There are some app that can help us it is very easy to use and less hassle, this bitcoin casino won't fail your expectation because it can give wonderful gambling experience.
Based on my experience, i started to learn about poker from my friends because i am interested to learn every card gambling games, so that i am not ignorant when they play gambling games like poker, but like you i apply the things that i learned in playing poker from my friends through playing in a bitcoin casino. Since then i enhance my skills from my playing and i started to learn strategy like bluffing, so that they would fold their cards on their hands and i can get the pot money. if you would gonna ask i started to play poker in my favorite bitcoin casino that has a lot of famous casino games that you can play like poker, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and slots. It also offers outstanding bonuses for new players  that you can get 225% on deposits and get up to 1,000 mBTC.

I suggest to play first in offline like install poker application in app store like download it because you will learn a lot from that like you will experience there some strategy in poker then try to risk little by little in online poker

another thing that you should is read different topics about poker here in forum i'm sure you will learn some also in that so your chance to win will go high then actually that will depends on you like you will win base in your own strategy
In offline you can learn a lot, because its the basis that you can get some idea. Experience is important before you will play online poker. But the best is you can ask some other people who are expert on poker, and practice if what they suggest to you.

I think the best place is on real player that there is somebody are playing poker and stand besides them, just observe it and watch also if how they play. Then you can get or study some strategy they use. Then if you already have skills then you can play.

You don't have to watch or read all the resources you can find at once, either- with a lot of things I find it's better to learn over a period of time rather than cramming a lot of material in all at once. YouTube's chock full of information on how you can start and improve your poker skills, but it doesn't do any good if you can't remember and utilize the things you've learned from watching those videos. Same goes for any guides you might find regarding poker.

yes definitely the YouTube videos will be helpful for you but moreover anything you can do it practically only can get the hundred percent result in your training and I said just this also for your training only.
