I've never played poker, I've heard a great many things about it.
I'd like to learn .. keep in mind I haven't even played rummy (the Indian card game)..so I'll be a complete noob.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Youtube videos are all fine and dandy but I'm looking for a guided tutorial game platform where it'll dive into the more technical side of things.

Thanks in advance.
If you're looking a place or a website where you can try playing Texas Hold Em Poker without real money involved in playing the poker game then this is the website where I learn on how to play poker game in real time or online and also know when to take risk of losing your chips and can think of a strategy to increase your winning percentage. You can practice or learn how to play poker online in this poker game App you can play on https://www.facebook.com/TexasHoldEm/. Only poker game currency used to play and you can play poker with other poker players in real time or online. Take Note: I am not responsible of you if you lose huge amount of money when you play in real poker game with real currency or crypto used to bet. Have fun practicing in that facebook poker game. Not involved in the said site or poker game.

yes definitely the YouTube videos will be helpful for you but moreover anything you can do it practically only can get the hundred percent result in your training and I said just this also for your training only.
Agreed, to the same there are more online poker games that can be played without spending anything. After going through tutorials relative to the poker game trying those demo game will get you a better understanding. As Op stated nothing will be better understanding compared to the explanation provided by any person.

There are lot of poker games available for us to play even for free in the market for all the platforms so we can learn from playing those but honeslty I am also a noob in playing poker but I had some experiences but only lost experiences. Cheesy
All the places are good to learn mainly on the internet you can find a lot of material about poker. There you can also learn about online poker plays of several types. If you really want to get the most possible hold in a game you must learn first. Learn about the strategies which are useful and important and sometimes it gets urgent so you should make it happen but learning is the first option and it is great you have chosen poker.

When you play poker for fun, and in real money difference is huge. Place where you practice to play poker is where professionals play, there you learn tricks, there you learn from mistakes, there isn't better way to learn to play poker. It's a game of skill, you need to practice them a lot and to try to analyze every hand you play, every opponent you have. Everything else is just a joke, if you wish to learn to play poker, collect money for start and jump into.

^ Tha's right, If you want, try to check youtube videos about the basics of pokers first. Once you have understood the basics, try to jump in an online poker simulation where you will be able to match with the computers and people without using your assets. Just learn and try to practice strategies. If you think you're ready, then go ahead and try live poker with live players and bets.

You guys can watch all the videos, read all the strategy guides and damn...  There are even preflop hand charts.  But nothing makes one a better player more than practice.  You gotta get your hands dirty.

Play at SWC (I shill, I shill).  Cheesy

It will be better to use some android apps and try their. You will learn their about the rules and you can practise their for losing nothing. If I can recall correctly, I learned most of those game from this kind of app. It's free and easy to learn.

That’s right, there’s a lot of mobile apps or games for poker you just have to choose from any of them and you can practice playing using the application, it’s good for noobs for you to be able to familiarize how poker is done and while playing you can think of possible strategies. Also, it a good way to learn without losing any money, and if in case you’ve learned enough then you can try gambling if you want to gain profits while playing.

Watch poker tutorials on youtube to get the basics down before you jump into practice games.  I would also recommend watching some high level tournaments to get a feel for how the pros play and try to emulate what they do once you build up some basic skills.

I agree, there’s a lot of poker tutorials in youtube and they also give useful tips for newbies on how to learn poker easily. Also if you want to practice playing poker you can download poker games from your playstore to practice until you’ll understand how to play it.

I would probably agree that the best source for learning poker is on YouTube.  Only YouTube is a resource for those who want to learn on their own.  This will happen for quite a long time, but if you have a tutor or a friend who is a professional in this matter, then the study will be much faster and much more effective.

Yes YouTube helps a lot in understanding these things. Poker could be learned by going through the details of the game and by practicing a lot in poker. Practice makes a man perfect and I think that since poker is a complicated game, you in fact need to learn by doing. This is the only good way for gamblers to master in poker and all these best poker players have been making their billions after starting from zero.

Back when I first started playing poker I used to study hands played on the Youtube channel Live at the Bike.

Beyond that, you could also look into the hands played by poker pros including Doug Polk, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, but you should be aware that you need to play a boat load of hands to become a natural at poker.

Also make sure you get a grip of the fundamentals, including table positions and poker mathematics, they are crucial to improve.

This reminds me when I was a student and to get an edge over the other students beside studying for University I also was studying for IT online exams.I did a lot of reading, hands on lab-practice,watched tutorials and also a lot of practice tests.

The same can be applied to poker learning, the more things you do to learn it the better you become at it.Youtube videos can help a lot but hands on-playing yourself will learn you tricks that youtube videos won't.

You can learn in more website right now because by using internet you can easily find tutorial on how to play poker online.
The most efficient is that is youtube because you cannot only see the pictures or step by step but also you can see the actual happening how they play gambling and it is advatanges you to you because you can understand easily than reading the information to the other site.

Learning from youtube video alone is not enough to be a good poker players. You need more than just learning, but practicing it in real game is also needed. As a well known saying "learning by doing" will make you understand it better than just reading or watching video. When I started to learn poker game, I jumped by playing it on facebook poker application many years ago without watching any videos first but I knew the basic rules of poker game already. Basically once we know the basic rules of the game, we should implement it on real game although without real money.

Playing with free money will give you a good glimpse on how things are going inside this gambling activities, if you can use to it and you find good potentials from your skills then you can go forward and start to use your real money and try to see if same results will happen.

No any tutorial would provide you with complete knowledge about any poker games. The best way is to give it a try yourself.
Playing for free is a good way to start. In SwC Poker, you can also win real money for playing for free. No need to deposit anything. Just join a free tournament and start playing different types of poker games.

It will also give you an opportunities to learn gambling and to play with your own skills, try to learn from other gambler as well, because most of gamblers don’t even understand what actually gambling is, they get in gambling to make money but it needs skills and it need free money gambling ability so wish all new learners to get chance for gambling, be good and keep learning

I had learned poker on PokerStars. Just start playing with play money and take part of the freerolls to earn some $. The also have a own PokerSchool.
Playing with free money will give you a good glimpse on how things are going inside this gambling activities, if you can use to it and you find good potentials from your skills then you can go forward and start to use your real money and try to see if same results will happen.
Demo games are created for this purpose and there is no way to lose a single penny from gambler's balance. Although, it totally depends on the skills of the gambler some live sites can manipulate the game outcome.
We found it mostly in all gambling sites, it is particularly no money involve. It shows only step by step and there is no betting happens.
But in real game, we find it different as our opponents have their strategies and ain't no surprise for possible loses cause we are still learning. Make it right by engaging more in this game to create our own strategies or have a copy to the others.

I learned how to play poker through game application and then searched some basic knowledge through google. I guess, you just need to know how good your cards and your opponents if you are just playing in online casino. It's not actually hard on how to learn poker but it's actually different in physical casino since you need not to show any face expression for you not to give your opponents guess on what you got.
